You lot are ****ing crazy. If Hogan is ready to play, he plays. More likely he'll be back round 3 at the earliest.

Biggest worry is going too tall this week, slippery and humid conditions are forecast and theWigs went too tall in Brisbane last week. If we r going to bring anyone in ,it should be running smallforwards or mids.
Sorry Jesse , you’ll have to wait another week.

Jesse didn’t have much chemistry with the forwards the last time he played. My concern is he comes in and upsets the dynamic established last weekend.

Which is why you get him in ASAP against the Gold Coast and St Kilda to blow out the cobwebs before the real work begins

Can people stop peddling this myth about WC going too tall? Both sides played 7 talls and Brisbane's KPP/rucks were actually taller.

lol It would be a very freo thing to do.

Chase an elite key forward for years - give up pick 6 and 23 and finally get one.

Play him in the 2s while Taberner plays 1sts.

I reckon that would just about be it for our credibility then. May as well play North over Fyfe. I mean, they're both midfielders right?

Yes and no. He probably was close to a certain starter. But he somehow wasted his opportunity and now needs to earn his spot. Delivers the wrong message when he drop somebody who plays well when we keep winning...

Its more complicated than that. But agree that Hogan needs to be in when ready.

I'm 100% sure the club will do what's best in regards to integrity of selection and picking a winning team.

Sunday is forecast to be 27 and mostly sunny, humidity around 55%, why is everyone concerned about the weather?

Humidity at bounce down in Brisbane last week was around 80%.

Yes, there is rain forecast in the days prior to our game but i really can't see how that is going to be an issue at 4pm on Sunday.

We urgently need local intel ... do we not have Freo Big Footy community in South-east Qld?

Ahoy. It's wet. Quite wet. Raining all yesterday. Today is drizzling on and off and supposed to be much of the same until Sunday. Humidity has broken a bit though because of this.

Playing 4 talls would be suicide I'd still suggest.

Way too much was made of the humidity and not enough of the poor skills and close checking last week anyway I thought.

close to? Surely you jest.

The message would be: finally, after 25 years we have more than 1 good tall forward on our list.

Apparently Darcy is battling a injury. I read that Lobb came to freo to play forward more. I wonder why he doesn't like to ruck. He is mobile, a good mark, and tall. With a improvement in his tap work think he would be serviceable as a ruckman.
Playing Lobb in the ruck would allow Hogan tabs and McCarthy to play forward.

Pretty certain its just a corky, wouldn't expect it to be an issue come Sunday.

Imagine having starting in the centre square: Darcy/Fyfe/Mundy/Hogan - we would monster teams.

Tabs cannot be dropped under any circumstances. He played very well last week.

Ballas out, Hogan in.

Hogan plays 70% game time, 35% in the middle and 35% in the fwd line. Lobb rucks 35% of time and that's when Hogan goes forward. Also means that Colyer can play more forward.

Done!

Its weird, I used to dream of the day we wouldnt need to pick Tabs, now that hes the logical guy to go and maybe be back up for the rest of his career I dont want him to go. Everything I wanted for our forwards has happened, McCarthy had a blinder, Lobb has slotted straight in and Hogans foot is better. But now its here I dont want Tabs out.....I want more Tabs.
