I'm aware of and love the Miami Dolphins
One round left. Fair bit to play for for both us and Sydney.

Who comes in and who goes out? Is Hibberd a possibility? Do we again try Grundy? Who will be the mystery injury of the week?

As a quick aside, I like playing with the Squiggle: Squiggle 2023. There are lots of possible outcomes after this game - bit of fun seeing how teams are looking visually (based on stats alone).

For what it's worth, here are recent encounters (from afl.com.au). Bit of a mixed bag.

On form, no change.

But if Collingwood wins on Friday and Port wins their last two, meaning us winning is the difference between playing Pies at the G vs Lions at the Gabba, maybe we look at resting a couple if anyone's sore.

Fitting that we finally play a game in Sydney and it's going to nearly be a dead rubber :(

The TMac, Smith, Tomlison love triangle will be an interesting watch. Reckon Goody is itching to get TMac in and drop Tommo given he was subbed out, but personally thought Tommo was solid today. Laurie had a couple of ok moments, but not sure he holds that spot with finals looming.

I reckon it will be:

OUT: Laurie, Tomlinson, Schache (sub)
IN: Fritsch, TMac (Smith back), Hibberd (sub)

Bowey pretty iffy for Hibberd too, but would mean a lot of changes.

Think Hibbo might’ve been concussed in the VFL.

On Fritsch, maybe he comes back to get some touch before finals, but if he's not absolutely 100%, no way he should be risked for essentially a dead rubber.

Ahhh that probs means Bowey safe and one of the bag of potatoes (Laurie, Spargo, Jordon) gets picked as sub I guess.

They've been talking up the Fritsch one a bit lately so I reckon they pick him.

If Fritsch is fit play him in the VFL for a half.

No changes imo. Wouldn't mind seeing Schache play more game time to see what he might offer as I believe it's a shoot out between him and Smith for the sub role in the finals.

We have 4th sewn up and I expect Swans to go hard. Do Trac and Max get a rest?
Grundy in for 1 more game?

Would like to see Laurie get another game over JJ or Harmes, thought he had a pretty good second half. Could see him going out for Fritta if TMac is in too.

Bowey lucky if Hibberd is concussed.

Tomlinson out based on that performance, Smith back, McDonald forward.

We will know by the game start what needs to happen. Go 4 late changes if all of Collingwood, Brisbane and Port win.

but personally thought Tommo was solid today.
Surprised to hear that tbh, took a few decent marks, but what did you see otherwise that was positive? IMO he got towelled up by Ramsden early in the air, and got moved onto DGB who burned him on the lead constantly. Once we moved Lever to play off Ramsden, Lever was able to zone off him and rebound fairly comfortably. DGB went quiet, albeit they all did, in the last quarter when Smith played defence.

Reckon Tommo has been unlucky in recent weeks, but thought he looked back to his slow worst today.

Why? There's a bye the week after, and if we win there's another one after that.

Definitely looked slow, that's probably the reason for him being subbed IMO. But thought early on he was solid, not good or bad, just solid.

He could be a decent option for McLean next week, but McDonald and Amartey if fit will both take 15 marks if they play on someone as slow as him.

I reckon Goody's most likely move is Smith back and TMac in as it stands currently.
