Three of four players on the bench are inside mids (Matt, Poholke and Keays) plus we've named Jones at half forward, Sloane on the wing (and Brad, Laird and Schoenberg as the starting mid trio).

Badly lacking pace and any sort of run and carry.

Defense is also lockdown heavy and lacks creativity, and the forward line is looking thin for scoring options

Yes, because they’re blessed with so much pace out of the back half with Frawley and Stratton...

Who else would you have selected exactly? Hamill I would’ve liked to see but clearly they’re being conservative. The only player I want to see debut before the end of the season is Worrell.

Using the excuse of no SANFL games to keep a few favourites in I think. Hamill should be in for Kelly or Mackay if he's good to go, McAsey in ahead of Kelly.

Clearly they’re being conservative with Hamill after two concussions, is there something wrong with that? McAsey for Kelly I agree with, Kelly is the only continual selection frustrating me atm.

That said I'd drop Kelly for Worrell, McHenry was "managed" a few weeks ago so he's in for Poholke, Walker's done so he's out for McAsey.

Crouch brothers lucky to survive as Hamill and Milera are injured. Maybe even Seedsman would be considered, would prefer him to both Crouches

Our games against them always follow a similar script. Picking a slow, predictable looking side is only playing into their hands.

I wouldn't have brought back Talia for this game. Makes us way too slow and poor by foot down back.

Matt was our best player last week and laid the most pressure acts of any player in the league this year, how is he lucky?

The Hawks aren't exactly blessed with tonnes of pace either. The players that concern me them most are Glass and Jiath , which really speaks volumes with were their sitting.

Matt was very very good last week, and good the week before.

Seedsman has not been.

I'm concerned about us playing all of Matt, Brad, and Sloane in the same midfield. It hasn't worked. Then we're adding onto that Keays and Poholke who are not quick
