Can pretty much guarantee that Greenwood will be dropped, as his effort level was absolutely unacceptable on Friday night. Was Gibbs-like at times. I suspect he might be the only unforced change, and that he’ll be replaced by Gallucci.
Walker (managed) out for Fog would happen at any successful club. So not likely.
Gibbs is the other potential in. Knight would be the logical one to give way there, unless it’s Gibbs and not Gooch that comes in for Hugh. Less than 50% chance.
Mackay won’t be dropped this week. Neither will Betts, Seed or Atkins. Jones needs to play better footy to break in for one of them ASAP.
Hartigan is well and truly under the pump to hold his spot, but will do so this week against the tallish Carlton forward line. Not sure he holds on for the following week - I can see us reassigning Smith or Milera back there and rolling the dice with a smaller setup if we get rolled by Carlton (we are probably going to get rolled by Carlton).
Going to be one of the hardest games to watch in recent memory. The backlash if we lose will be intense.

This ain’t the banter thread
Early in the year we would finish games by doing the same, so what's changed ??In pre season, I noted we had a problem of conceeding 4-5 goals in a row to the opposition, it happened in the pre season showdown and U23 Showdown, people shot me down saying its only pre season its not serious.
Well look at us now, it happens so often its become our brand.
We are unable to stop a run on of goals, we lack leadership when the chips are down, no one on field is saying we gotta rally and take it through the corridoor quickly.
Its always back the boys, back the gameplan, back the structure.
When are the players gonna grow a backbone mid game and realise s**t isnt working and play on instinct instead
(Tex) Said on the radio this morning 50/50 as elbow hyper extended ... Still training. Will likely play .What's the go with Tex? Is he playing this week?
Players has always been backing each other, time to perform now.Is it sounding like the player have to much power?
Sloane and Jenkins defending the players chance to bounce back.
Fear of losing players made the club weaker?

lol .. you're in the wrong thread. There was a banter thread created specifically for you to post inbecause they will burn more post game
Its been happening since the second half of 2017.In pre season, I noted we had a problem of conceeding 4-5 goals in a row to the opposition, it happened in the pre season showdown and U23 Showdown, people shot me down saying its only pre season its not serious.

I have a whole range of thought bubbles floating around on just this point. Is it sounding like the player have to much power?

Also Campo must have MacKay in the side at all costs because he's a great guy and Ben Hart looks like a trucker working on the penski file hoping not to get caught out doing nothing.I have a whole range of thought bubbles floating around on just this point.
The gist of it is the club was burnt so bad by the Tippett issue and the Bailey saga ( banning) that there seems to be this constant need to show the AFL we arent going to play any kids at all as this could be construed as signs of tanking. So anytime an ''easybeat '' side comes up we bend over backwards to show we are going to play our optimal 22 ( I refuse to call it best 22 ) and any development of players is stifled
The unintended consequence is the players know they have the power to demand their spots , despite performance, and if the club doesnt kowtow they will leave. This triggers an urgent review and message from above to keep playing the optimal 22 at all costs
As noted just thought bubbles that have lots of holes

Same old is fine, if we were winning.I get jealous watching other teams play all their young stars and seeing them flourish. We get to watch the same old week in week out.

One plus is that if you buy a guernsey with a number you won't need to replace it for over a decadeI get jealous watching other teams play all their young stars and seeing them flourish. We get to watch the same old week in week out.
Was even worse last year! The media from players and coaches has been up s**t creek all year - constant mixed messages and contradictory statements.
