You would be nuts to bring in a 1st gamer 18 year old in a game we have to win when Ottens has good form, the only issue I see is it's at a big ground but he will be playing that Doedee/Keath role (unless Carlton try to expose him 1-1 deep).

Which is why we could and should bring players in over the year, so when the need arises, we can trust and rely on them.

We don't, so we back ourselves into a corner, and don't have anywhere to go as a result.

No one cares??? it will mean Carlton WILL finish 2nd last. And we WILL play finals and in the finals we might decide to play a full game (instead of a half) and make a miracle run.

Yes, I'm sure the same thing that has constantly failed is just about to work if we repeat it a few more times. This team's not going on a run. Stop it.

Agree, we should have rested Talia in a few games (similar rested Jacobs and bring in O'Brien in a few games early in the season last year).

Will be refreshing to watch a game with no emotional investment. This club is in dire straits so having high expectations is detrimental to our health.
I'll watch the game but the result won't bother me.
The bubble our selectors sit in is perfectly in tact.

If the major drop off in the 2nd half is due to our once off heavy training load (then it might), if it's our fitness base (then nothing will fix it this late in the season), if it's mental (then it might).

Referencing SANFL form for the reason 18 and 19 year olds shouldn’t play is ridiculous. I still can’t believe form in a mishmashed team in a totally different league, style of play and even played with a different football is given so much credence when it comes to selection guidelines.

I wonder how the other teams in the VFL/NEAFL/WAFL are choosing which players are selected then?

Hello good sir,

I am the lawyer for a nigerian prince. I have a large sum of money which we need to deposit into bank account which is a gift to you if you will only provide your private banking details.

Reward form is always good
Stengle deserves another shot after he did nothing wrong even though it was a weak GC team

Wilson has been on fire and I hope we use him at hf or on ball.

As for Otten, I think he might start forward and stretch Carlton’s back line. If the ball hits the deck though, we are in deep shit

Would have loved for Pyke to change his structure and play 2 extra small instead of A Harto or something like that to add extra zig around pack
