I'd probably bring in Weightman for Croft, but thought Croft had a game of good moments so can understand if that doesn't happen.

Would also do Buss for Coffield if fit.

Don't anyone be dropping Croft - just get as many games into him as quickly as possible. The upside is huge. If we want to compete against the very top teams we need him and Arty to develop asap.

I’d say Treloar & Hynes are the two omission possibilities for Cody. Treloar only because it’s risky carrying two players that wouldn’t have full confidence in their bodies or ability to cover the ground.

Just curious on Weightman coming in without any VFL time, probably shows the caliber of player he is that I even care and am curious! But so many of you seem so certain he will come in.

Your ruck set up looks so much better than it did early on as well, with Lobb helping English out, it should be a great game.

If Bevo dropped Croft after that game I'd stop following the club. Croft was courageous, selfless and tough as hell. You have to reward those traits if you want to see them regularly.

It won’t be next week given we need to find an omission for Weightman as it is but it’s great that bevo mentioned Kennedy is close to debuting. Would give the kid a big boost.

If it wasn’t for that concussion I think he would’ve played last week.

Kennedy has improved greatly since moving to the midfield on a more regular basis. He gets involved in stoppages and is brave in the contest. It would be a huge step up for him to play in the seniors because he's not robust or particularly quick but he would certainly get involved. The problem is he plays his best football in the VFL as a midfielder and that is a hard gig to get into in the seniors. I'm all for giving him another year on the list because he's on a definite improvement curve.
