Gunston smashed our chances of winning the 2013 GFDon't know if we have to be that concerned with the Hawks small fwds. More worried about Chol out leaping Pearce or cox or old man Gunston on the lead
He is still haunting us

Well if we get smashed in the middle again and it comes in quick, it'll be served up to him on a platter with the defenders 5 steps behindGunston smashed our chances of winning the 2013 GF

Watson, Macdonald and Ginnivan ars very dangerous smalls. Add in Moore who hits the scoreboard and we should be very worried.Don't know if we have to be that concerned with the Hawks small fwds. More worried about Chol out leaping Pearce or cox or old man Gunston on the lead

Banners is not coming out after that game. He was one of our best.Only if Amiss kicked that goal and perhaps the next. Then would’ve been a great sub.
Amiss doesn’t get many opportunities yet he chokes the chances he does.
Chol doesn’t like the contested stuff. Pearce will be the go.Don't know if we have to be that concerned with the Hawks small fwds. More worried about Chol out leaping Pearce or cox or old man Gunston on the lead
Agree. But there needs to be some run. Walker is a need. Banfield can do half back/wing if Wagner is midfield.Banners is not coming out after that game. He was one of our best.
Can see why Fyfe was pushed to come in.People calling for Amiss out is absoloutly fair, but some of the people in here are hating on him as if he wants to miss his shots. Call for him to be dropped but we are supporters not haters.
Also im glad people seem to agree with me now on Jaeger in for Erasmus. Copped a bit for it in the selection thread.
I’m a believer in Amiss still long term as a high quality AFL forward, albeit beginning to waver slightly compared to a year ago. Still hopeful he can come good though.People calling for Amiss out is absoloutly fair, but some of the people in here are hating on him as if he wants to miss his shots. Well the alternative is play one ruck, but then it’ll be the ruck who gets completely dominated when he’s in there unless it’s against a teenager. Is it absurdity, irony, schadenfreude or just plain old dockery when we have to play 2 rucks to handle Lloyd ‘the monster‘ Meek
Gave old mate Marshall a good old touch up last night did Lloyd
3 weeks of 2 rucks and the oppo ruck has been best on or close enough twice , we’ve lost the clearance’s each time and we’ve looked brittle as **** on transition
How is this working in any way
Obviously you didn't see Walker's game at Peel, very ordinary and hesitant under the high ball. One can only dream of the day we piss Amiss off to Peel, where he deserves.
Walker comes back
He was horrible for Peel. He’s fit and ready. Should’ve played this week. Just lucky Papley got injured
Have you actually watched any of Siciliy's games this year, he is having a worse year than Cox.Watson, Macdonald and Ginnivan ars very dangerous smalls. Add in Moore who hits the scoreboard and we should be very worried.
Sicily, Barrass and Battle will enjoy the long bombs from us
I mean, if expectations for amiss have declined to the point that we are now hoping he reaches Joel Amarteys level…. Then things aren’t looking too flash.Commentary said Amartey kicked 0.6 with 3 OOF last game he played prior to today.
Eventually it will kick again for Amiss.
Midfield let down the side, not the forwards needing to be perfect off limited supply.
**** the ruck , the only time we look like a good side is when our pressure is upWell the alternative is play one ruck, but then it’ll be the ruck who gets completely dominated when he’s in there unless it’s against a teenager.
The issue goes back to Jackson still not being able to match it against the big boys.
I kind of agree, hitouts are the most overrated stat in the game. We won hitouts last week comfortably and lost clearances. We were poor in the clearances yesterday regardless of which ruckman was in there.**** the ruck , the only time we look like a good side is when our pressure is up
Jacko and Voss and another runner ( hopefully Switta )
Hallelujah. Unfortunately this is bang on. It’s a shame though.Obviously you didn't see Walker's game at Peel, very ordinary and hesitant under the high ball.
Yes I have, but I'm also aware that our gamestyle suits him. Gun players don't stay down forever, they eventually find form again. His ability to go forward and get a miss match can also cause headaches.Have you actually watched any of Siciliy's games this year, he is having a worse year than Cox.
