With kids I'd try Varsity as suggested as you're surrounded by other kid friendly options in FOMO.

Federal seems to have official Dockers endorsement this weekend too - so maybe some kid games could be there? It's 200m from Varsity if you're unsettled.

Would concur with this, under no circumstances take your kids to the Beacy sports bar, unless you want to be explaining to them afterwards about the things they've seen that kids aren't meant to see.
The Irish Bar at the front of the Beacy is actually quite OK with a nice open fire in winter, but I've been in there when a footy game is on and they've had the rugby on TV instead. It's hit and miss what's on the screens in that part, and you want to avoid the sports bar with kids

It’s been a couple of years since I watched a game at the Pub but I always used to enjoy the South Beach Hotel cafe/restaurant/bar area. Good food & a very relaxed pro Freo crowd vibe. Perhaps more adult oriented though.
I would echo Varsity. Kids can go play mini golf or bowling in the same complex. They’ve really made an effort there (FOMO) despite the awful name. There’s some great Asian food in the food court too.

Meek should of played more games this year. Why he didn’t puzzles me as lobb has never been that good in the ruck. Especially in contests where opposition have better ruck combos and we have been soundly beaten without having another option.

Think we were scarred after the Saint Kilda game - if I recall correctly having three talls was one of the reasons that we were seen to be moving the ball too slow.

It comes down to team balance surely.
The ruck contest is only one aspect of the game, many teams have essentially ceded the ruck battle and still won comfortably.

Meek may be better than Lobb in the ruck, but he doesn't offer anywhere near the same around the ground.
Playing Darcy, Lobb and Meek in the same team seems very lumbering, never mind adding Tabs to that.
