First of all I am going to name people that we should get rid of and you don't have to agree on all of them but I think its what we need.

Board

Steven Trigg- sack
Phil Harper- sack
David Noble- demote
Mark Bickley- change role or sack
Scott Camporeale- sack
Nick Paulos- sack
Peter Jonas?
Alan Stewart?
Tate kaesler?

Players

Shaun McKernan- trade/delist
Jared patrenko- trade/delist
Brodie Martin- trade/delist
Angus Graham- delist
Lewis Johnston- trade/delist
Brent Reilly- trade/delist
Jason porplyzia- retire/delist/trade
Luke Thompson- trade/delist
Ben Rutten- he's definitely retiring this year

I know not all will agree but even if you don't speak up everyones opinion counts.

Bring in someone who can teach our guys to kick straight.

And another who can teach our guys how to handle the pressure of being tackled.

A forward coach who understands forward structures and how midfielders should deliver the ball to it.

A new CEO would be nice. Regardless of Tipgate, Trigg is not ruthless enough. He has got comfortable in his job.

7 games into the season ....still way too early apart from the obvious that anyone could pick

I'll throw Wright in to being traded at years end

This is getting beyond a joke.. The whole forward line movement and moving the ball through there is woeful, so amateur..
Matthew Lloyd was talking about it this morning on Sunday Footy Show and how poor it was and I was politely yelling at him to sit up and take notice of why, we have a defensive midfielder as the forward line coach..

The only reason that Bicks a) got the job and b) keeps his job must be that he's got photos of Trigg and Chapman naked rolling around on a table full of Balfours frog cakes.

I can think of no other way a defensive, tagging midfielder is our best option to structure and coach a forward line. Any forward line.

Lions chopped favourite son in Voss, whereas AFC does not make tough decisions...

When I saw David Noble as a demote I see this as nothing more then a dummy spit with no thought.
Agree, Noble is one of a few in a managerial role that is competent... just shouldn't be covering Bailey's role too.

I think you will find that if or when we fail this year a lot of changes will be made to the coaching panel to freshen up the joint. Plus I am sure the AFC will be seeking the skills of an ex coach to over see the entire coaching department.

They will bring Tex back this week but they need to play Charlie Cameron - this will give the supporters a glimmer of hope we are looking towards the future.

By playing Cameron will start to ease some of the pain.

Would certainly hope so ... but why have we waited so long to make the much needed changes?

Need a decent Bailey replacement + at least 2 new assistants.

... but really need a new CEO & other key management if we really are going to move forward!

Sadly I have little to no confidence this will happen at all.

Start with Trigg out, somebody fresh and aggressive and exciting in who isn't a yes man. Pick out any dickhead off the streets with some balls and some passion to lead our club and they'll be better than what we have now. I'd even be happy with that goose Jeff Kennett.

Plus I reckon we NEED to go hard for coaches, particularly an experienced and successful senior assistant. Bomber thompson anyone? Offer him $1m a year. Or bring in somebody from the outside, ala Michael Voss or whoever else is available. Dennis Pagan even. Chuck the bloody house at bringing Malcolm Blight back.

Get rid of Camporeale Bickley and Clarke (Bickley is probably a good midfield coach but he's been here long enough and we need outside influence). Offer some money at likely retirees like Jono Brown or Chris Judd for an assistant gig. Or even somebody like Nathan Bassett? I'm probably speaking out of my ass but I don't care who it is, we just need somebody DIFFERENT with fresh ideas, because I'm sick of the same old shit.

I fully agree with you, whatever it takes to fix this club

I think most of us like Nobes - but what's his involvement in the contracts of people like Reilly?

Direct involvement of course.

What would you suggest? Should we have gotten rid of Reilly and taken an extra draft selection in the 80s somewhere? Reilly clearly has something to offer us still. Even if you discount his work on the footy field (and I don't think he has been that bad), he's obviously useful as a mentor.

When you're asking for Noble to be demoted because he re-signed Reilly for a couple of years, it's hard to take anything else you say seriously, even when there are actually some good points there. Noble is one of the very few Crows staffers who has performed above average in my mind.
