If Fog was our go to kpf or even # 2 and kicked 35, we would be in trouble I think we need both Tex and JJ to kick over 50 if we are any chance at taking a flag

But saying that Im happy for Fog to play now develop him and lets just do the whole rebuild thing if we finish 14th so be it

I understand what you’re saying but Tex in his second year at aged 20 kicked 35 goals at AFL level. He also kicked 50+ in the SANFL at 19 years of age.

Fogarty is a long way off of that

Under the NSW rookie program Tex was allowed on our list a year earlier than usual draftess. To compare apples with apples he kicked 35 goals in his “First” year and 50+ in the SANFL in his pre-draft year.

The FOG is doing better than most first round, tall forward draft picks but not in the same universe as Nick Riewoldt, Lance Franklin and Tex.

I would be happy to see Fog play just to see a bit of mongrel back in the team. Sick of this chasing waving arms around defence. We play well when we tackle hard with pressure and mongrel to create the turnover then away we go. I have not seen this for quite some time. Fog provides this.

Yeh that is actually correct

Tex was drafted in the 2007 Draft when he was 17. He turned 18 in 2008 in April the year he spent at Norwood kicking 58 goals. At 19 in 2009 played half the games in the AFL. So thats Fogs age. So lets see if he can match that.

Yep, it appears that too many blokes have gotten far too comfortable with themselves over there and now it is setting in as culture.

The people in charge over there should be planning their own "night of the long knives" the moment this season finishes, in order to correct the ship.

Retire Betts & Douglas, then put 6-8 other blokes on the table and see what happens. Jenkins should be at the top of the list.

You can add his name to a few Crows players in the same boat. Gibbs is another.

TBH the Crows are a great side for any South Aussie who is in the twilight of their career at another Club to come home and primarily focus on life after footy and not have to worry or concern themselves about on field performance.

I can see Grundy staying at the Pies for another 5 years and coming here at 29-30. Neale will end up here Im sure around 30 as well. Sloane and Gibbs will be long gone by then. I will be suprised if the Crouch brothers are here as well, I can see them taking up a lucrative contract to go home themselves, but at their prime of their career.
