The worst part about a Sunday game is that we have the pre-melt phase tonight when we list a squad of 25 and only 2 outs.

I found this interesting. In 4 rounds of football our Big 4 forwards have had the following total shots at goal.
JJ: 8
Tex: 8
Lynch: 8
Betts: 10

In the SANFL’s 1st 3 games plus the SANFL Trial vs Port (so equivalent amount of games)

Tyson Stengle: 16 minimum (trail game didn’t record behinds).

Not saying SANFL and AFL are the same standard, but it’s pretty damn obvious that this kid knows where the goals are and is dangerous with ball in hand!

I’m have zero faith that they will reward the good form of our 2’s forwards.

Nah, they changed that loophole whereby you could workout the team by checking the SANFL teams. I don’t know why they bothered really, I gather 7 as they made a fuss of being the first to name teams on the 6 o’clock news in Melbourne.

Players named in our 26 will be listed as “outs” from the SANFL team, but then be late “ins” once the real team is named.

Otten back up ruck to give ROB a 5 minute spell each quarter
Stengle to replace Murphy - He needs to get as many games as possible next to Eddie before the end of the year to learn off the master.
Fog to replace Jenkins, give JJ a couple of weeks in the 2's to find some form.
Greenwood and Gibbs both bring in some class.

Would be very surprised to see 5 changes but we can only hope.
