Im in the Ebert for Watts campIf Boak and Ebert are untouchable then
IN: Watts
OUT: DBJ (injured)
Have Motlop, Hoff and Ebert down back more.
Watts, Barry, Trengove and Farrell all put their hands up.
Going to be a tough week for selection.

Everyone seems pretty bullish on Watts in. Did he jag a few today?
He kicked 3.2, had 17 touches and looked really good. Credit to him, if he comes back in he has to play like he did today for the Maggies.Everyone seems pretty bullish on Watts in. Did he jag a few today?

Got 3 goals, could have had 5. Also played a third of the game leading up the wing as well as playing a bit down back.
Plus he showed more intent to attack the footy. That's what I wanted to see from him, he plays like that every week in the AFL side he will shine. We all know he has the talent.Good on him.
Round 1 against Freo showed we can fit Watts, Marshall and Hoff in the same side. We looked like a well oiled machine until Ryder got injured.Marshall wasn't good after 1/4 time, but realistically he wasn't going to be 100% straight away. The temptation is to bring Watts in against his old side and is backed up by his 3 goals against Sturt today, but dropping a proven talent after his first game back is pretty rough. Is there room for both in the same side? Possible, but the Hoff will have to play up the ground more. Hard week to be a selector

It took him an entire quarter to get another touch after the applause, the moment clearly got to him.Marshall wasn't good after 1/4 time, but realistically he wasn't going to be 100% straight away. I yelled out to him and said that he was going great and too good for SANFL. He looked at me and gave me a thumbs up.Everyone seems pretty bullish on Watts in. Did he jag a few today?
Perfect week to start for him. I reckon today was just what he needed, same as Rocky and SPP when they went back. Hopefully today is a sign of things to come. That’s great to hear. We all know that he’ll never be a brute like Dixon but if he can add some more intent as you say he’ll be a great contributor for us. And with the Demons coming up what a week to start hey?!
