Certainly, Daniel's form has been poor for a while now but I would like to know what is the purpose of him playing in the backline? Is it to teach him accountability, add a loose man to a struggling backline or some other strategy that remains obscure? A couple of games ago he was manned up to a resting ruckman with obvious results. Could this situation have contributed to a lack of confidence evidenced by his recent poor disposal and decision-making?

F#ck me.... our season is well and truly over at round 14 and we don't look like winning another game this season.
The deal made with the devil in 2016 is really coming back to bite us.

The problem is he makes Jarrad Grant look bulky
We have no choice but to look at our list for the remainder of the year so we can make the best informed list management decisions available.

I'd give Greene a go, Lippi has played some good football forward of the ball (mixed results as a mid so far) and Greene might just be a player that either looks better at a higher level or gets a taste of what he need to work on at the higher level.

Heck, a few semi-decent performances and I'd give Porter a debut to show the kid the level required to get to. Hard-working, good listening type who wants to learn.

Not true .. Carltank looks a good bet and Saints a definite possibility

Injuries have killed us again

Quality...

There’s a double header at Etihad this weekend with the VFL team playing at 3:25. This is obviously that team so...

What’s the team that’s playing at 7:25?

I'm not quite expecting a 20 goal loss, but it's incredibly likely this is going to be one of, if not, our biggest losing margins under Bevo. Missing our best player for the season, our captain, our preferred starting ruck- and that's just what we know right now. And we weren't exactly flying with those guys in the team anyway. There'd be no real takeaway for them in belting us, it'd just be getting done what they should get done.

With Waite and Anderson likely inclusions for North they are at full strength, whereas we could field our weakest team for many years, particularly if Bont and McLean don't get up. The game will be interesting if, for nothing more, we see which of the survivors really want to play.

Stranger things have happened in an AFL game. Regardless of the results, I wan't to see a really hungry effort from the 22 we put out there. Effort is not the same as talent level.

Rather Daniel playing as a forward than back. Might get more of a go in the middle this week with injuries though. He can kick a good goal, plenty of nice snaps I remember. Nice and close to ground for crumbs from Boyd/Schache and can tackle. Has had some good goal saving tackles this year. Only might survive axe because of injury let's try something different this week and hope he finds something.

we're severely depleted but those Norf flogs predicting 20 goal plus wins are idiots .. though that epitomizes their supporter base

shit team, shit supporter base
Would love to see you guys beat those clowns and finally finish off their season with 2/3 of your side out. They won't be playing finals regardless but **** they have bloody short memories, time for a reality check back into mediocrity for them I reckon.

Rather they play finals than the alternative ... plastic flogs

Though I'd be ok with Hawthorn

i think we will be next year but i don't care if we win much this year
