Overnight? Start now.

Still remember as a kid, they had a national night comp (probably Escort Cup) and the Hawks was playing the WA side ( think the WA side was Claremont) and Claremont were smashing them. Suddenly in the third quarter, the sprinklers came on, the ball became slippery and the Hawks kicked the last 6 or 7 goals to win. Funny stuff although all from the WAFL thought there may have been some cheating going on...sore bloody losers

Hierarchy need to make the biggest call in Crows history, dump Thommo for CEY/Grigg and shoot for a very winnable flag or stay loyal & get flogged by the pro elite clubs.

Thommo was great around the packs this week.

Thompson clearly a champion of this club and has had a reasonable year. However, his defensive transition for a midfielder is woeful, worse than Lyons.

Would you try Cameron as a small defender if Brown doesn't get up?

I would at some stage, but not sure this is the right game for it.

Having multiple strings to your bow is always a good thing and i think he could be very effective as a backman depending on match-ups.

Kelly would be my choice if Brown doesn't get up.

Yup, I like Kelly in that role too.

Is a competitive beast.

He may lack the elite speed but you know he is going to make the forward earn every single goal.
Bit of height doesn't hurt either with even West Coast's 'small' forwards being quite tall (LeCras, Hill, Cripps)

Cameron still learning his craft as a small forward who more recently will occasionally runs off the back of the square at a centre bounce. He's coming along really well but he's nowhere near ready to be dumped down back against a top 2 side. If Brown doesn't get up then it's Kelly or Cheney, or they put VB in a lockdown defensive position and we all cross our fingers.

Saw douglas wearing the tracksuit at the end of the game, but I don't think he was injured, probably managing him after the 2 weeks out. Would bring Kelly in if brown doesn't get up, and bring Lever in for sure (see what I did there ;) ).

It was pretty bloody cold. Can't blame him for putting on a tracksuit!

I see a few Weagles supporters dismissing Walkers 7 because we were playing Brisbane. Yes, they're a bottom side, but what they're forgetting is that Tex needed a confidence booster and that's exactly what he got. He'll be ready to rumble on Sunday.

Lever in for Shaw. Don't think we'll make any other changes - maybe Lyons starts and someone else is sub.

You would think we'd set up better at center clearances this time around.

Still, West Coast are a different beat away from Perth. If we bring the same intensity we did against Richmond, I reckon we'll win in a close one. Mind you, I also reckon Collingwood are some chance of beating the Cats on Friday night so it may not matter.

Judge for yourself guys :) I think were in with a massive chance, Also I didn't count the away showdown or away derby in these stats as they count as an away game!

Walshy use to say "every team is vulnerable once they step on the plane"

St Malcolm of Blighty had an even simpler variation of same. when asked about how to cure our 'travelling' issues, he said that it wasn't a secret or a mystery: teams need to be 30% better to win on the road. nothing to do with routines, hotels, travel times etc. just about being that much better on the day.

which is not easy to do.

Too many of us evaluate players performances in a game by fitting the stats to their preconceived bias against or for such player.
Try to be a bit more objective.
