Koby is a good player and would be handy for us right now with his size and strength but we need a Black type more than a Stevens type going forward. Would be keen on trading for Stevens though.

I played division 1 A grade state league football today. At the moment our club has no home ground because of council paid redevelopment and will not have a club until next year, we are seriously struggling financially, forced to train in the dark with terrible facilities. Most of our team are blue collar workers who could also be getting paid 2 and 3 times as much in the hills or country SA or Vic leagues and could really do with an extra $600-$1000 a week but we sacrifice for eachother and the club because the club means more than money to us. We had our backs against the wall today and won and played for eachother and will continue to do so for the rest of the year. It makes me sick that a bunch of blokes who didn't quite get the opportunities some did and weren't good enough for AFL still have the passion and play for each other at all costs.

On the flip side the team I support so far this year have done nothing but complain about how tough things are, diss respect the coach, diss respect eachother, play with no passion and havn't put there bodies on the line when needed and they are meant to be professional athletes getting paid $100,000 - $500,000 a year. This year has pissed me off so much and the way North has played makes me think what's the point. I F***** hope tomorrow is the day where we turn the corner and start playing for your mate. Not your own individual career.
