It is a shame. But what's not a shame is that senior players are being replaced by youth without them being injured. This has rarely happened during Lyons reign. Barlow and Mayne will be sh1tting themselves.

Just for the record Im pretty sure no one is arguing that change was evident and required. We had the oldest list in the afl pretty bloody obvious we would need some regeneration. Yeah its interesting, some what disappointed inside that this season is a write off so early.

For me a successful season would be a top 8 finish, which will set us up nicely next year. Its going to be hard, but if we do it will be pumped as we will have players that are skilled.

I don't mind the Langdon dropping, the young players form will fluctuate greatly.

Every now and then its good to drop them so they don't become complacent.

I'm glad Crozier is given a 2nd chance, hopefully he can take this opportunity.

How can one demonstrate they support a club by the arguments they make? Please re read your post to see if it makes sense.

For me a successful season would be a top 8 finish, which will set us up nicely next year. Its going to be hard, but if we do it will be pumped as we will have players that are skilled.

The truth is if we were to make the finals from a 0-4 start then we would have to be a fairly good side. It would also imply that the young kids we are developing are more than capable.
The draw opens up for us after the mid break so it isn't beyond the realms we will make the 8.
If we do and we are running with 6 young kids plus Harley, Mora and Shane Yarran we could cause some damage in the finals. Either way a final 8 finish, achieved with a vastly different line up would be a great preparation for 2017.
Personally, I don't care about finals this year provided I see a new look side playing a new attacking brand of football.

I did the ladder predictor and had us finishing 11-11 in 8th spot. Eagles in 5th so we'd be in a derby final first up!
