Like Crammers game. He stays.

Need to be more mobile, so Grant and Hunter stay.

Out - Campbell, Prudden

In - Hrovat, Hamling

Roughie to start in the ruck and backed up by Boyd. I'm not sure about Minson's ability to go with the Pies. Think Dale earned his recall from the Reserves and deserves another week.

Watched a bit of the Pies after half time and not sure there's been a bigger waste of space than Jesse White. I remember coming on this forum for the first time and there were people on here begging the Dogs to make a play for him. Geezus...with no Cloke, they'll need their mosquito fleet To kick goals for them.

Defensive efforts from our midfield...that'll be where it's won and lost.
Mark it down.
Jesse White to kick 6 vs Dogs next week

Like any prophet he has his disciples and his detractors. He does a lot of 1%-type things in heavy traffic and they aren't always noticed (officially only 2 1%ers, which is low for a defender). His disposal is generally good and he was given kick-out duties which is a bit of a compliment. He is perhaps a bit slow (especially for his size) and this will work against him. I think he's worth retaining on the list. Some others don't. Probably a 60% chance to stay in the side IMO.

Stats summary: 11 disposals at 91%, 5 CPs. No cheapy kick-out possessions (like Shaw who kicks to himself every time and racks up mysteriously big numbers). 4 tackles. Only one clanger. 84% GT.

How'd the kids' party go?
About us much fun as the dogs game by the sounds......

Roughead into the ruck so I'd have both hamling and Talia come in to play key back.
Dale will be a beauty is above vfl level but just doesn't have the body for afl yet, hunter grabbed his chance today needs a full game next week. Campbell goes for mine with toyd roughie rucking very unlucky but need a balanced team
Out: dale prudden Campbell
In: hamling Talia Stevens

Want to get Jong and Webb in the team but grant has enough credits to get another week and Crameri gets 1 more

Just listening to bev's presser, it sounds like he regrets not having another inside mid to bring in today to replace Koby. Think jong's a big chance next week if he plays well tomorrow.
I'd agree with that, not only for the body but his pace and ability to break the lines.

If we want to build Talia's confidence Jesse is our man. Personally would prefer Hamling for Campbell. Have extreme confidence that White will spud it up - why break his career trajectory??

f Stevens injured guess it's Hrovat, Webb and/or Honey for Dale and/or Prudden. Good opportunity for Hrovat to play mid minutes hope he doesn't lay an egg if selected.

Is it odd that we're so inexperienced up forward and Beveridge has moved an experienced and effective forward (Crameri) more into the midfield? Guy kicked 100 goals across 2012-2014. Anyways, so many of the drink's moves have worked, happy to back him in.
Needed the big body with Minson and Stevens out I guess. Think he is better fwd but won't hurt for him to learn the mid ropes. It may be the week that Boyd plays mid and Webb goes back. But then I doubt it, don't think Bev will screw with the back line - it's the hawthorn way. Think he'd rather play Goodes than move Boyd or play Crameri and Stringer as mids...

I think it was Crameri Bev was alluding to in his presser when he said they moved a wingman/forward into the engine room as a replacement for Stevens (inside mid). Jong would be have to be in the frame next week if he plays well tomorrow.

Edit: Apologies, I see now you've pretty much written exactly this a couple of posts above the one I quoted.

Lots of people with short memories on this board and sticking the boot into Crammers. Crameri has been ultra-consistent before this year - he kicked 30+ goals in each of the last three years, including last year for us (leading goalkicker with 37).

He seems to be struggling to adjust to Bev's new style (and maybe some injury niggles). For mine, I'd just return him to what he does best - rampaging through the forward line. However like you, I'll defer to Bev's good track record and longer term vision.
It does puzzle me all the same.

Someone hold me. I'm getting worried Goodes is coming back in next week.

Totally agree with the bolded bit, just reckon he will be the usual opposition spud to kick a bag against us.
Could almost have an award for it, call it the Majak Daw medal or something:$

Medal was cast and named in 1998 and is widely known as the Matthew Robran Medal:(

Nope he ain't got nothing on Daw, he was at least a 100 gamer and played multiple good AFL games, Daw played 1, against us and has been an oversized witches hat in every other game he has played

We are screaming out for another couple of inside mids in the rotation. Stevens out was a disaster for our team balance - been instrumental in there in the second part of our season as Jongy was in the first few games. Between the injury list and the number of players 15-30 ish on our list that are out of form its totally unsurprising we dropped one. Really need a couple of Jongy/Hrovat/Webb to have big games tomorrow.
