We played without a ruckman vs Freo for 3/4s and came close to winning. No biggie if Campbell blows up in the last, just rotate our mids through the ruck and contest the stoppages.

Lot of rubbish written on here, BEVERIDGE team is picked on form each week. I watch Footscray VFL every week, I have no problem with our team selection.

I suggest a few on here go to Coburg on Saturday and have a good look, let Beveridge coach and pick side as he has done brilliantly all year.

Very easy to become an expert on BIG FOOTY, more than half of so called Big Footy posters, write it, then read it back and actually believe their own bullshit.

Beveridge and is young BULLDOGS have been outstanding this season, some people who post on here have very short memories.


For heavens sake let Beveridge do the coaching and you guys do the barracking. Believe me the sun will come up in the morning.

Since you questioned the opinions and memories of posters...let's take a trip down memory lane and look at your opinions re-posted below.

Firstly, don't get me wrong, I value your opinions, but please don't disrespect other posters' opinions. So if its okay with you (and your cheerleaders), I'll question the coach's decisions whenever I like, not just when you say its ok.

In the quotes below, you started bagging Macca after 18 months in the job. Not only that, you bagged him out only a few months after praising him to the hilt.

So when will you turn on Bev? And will it only be okay to question Bev then, or will the 'sun still come up in the morning' if we question Bev in the meantime?

The only true fact is that opinions are like arseholes - everyone has one and most of them stink at times, including yours (and yes mine). Also below, despite the fact that you again remind us you watch the Two's, I note your opinion was very, very wrong on many players like Greenwood and Tutt (among others) and your slaughtering of current AA candidate Boyd.

So if its okay, I'll continue to be a barracking and questioning supporter.

Boyd, I have had enough of his lack of basic skills,for an AFL footballer,he has been named in the best,we are as members being made fools of. Everybody in the AFL knows he is not going to hurt them, he is only going to hurt the bulldogs, his turn overs tonight were shocking,time for the hard decisions Macca, you may have to have the senior players on side to survive, but they are the same players that are going to be your demise. Wake up Macca, before you are next.

The best post I have read on hear in years, I agree 100% with you, no clubs got it totally right but this stage of our development we have done most things right, and I believe a few things have gone our way, not getting Dawes for example, how could you justify paying a bloke 1 million over the next 3 years who kicked 16 goals last year. The pessimists who get on here and talk about our lack of KPP,I am convinced they have no experience in developing young footballers, which is fair enough, but at lest they should go and watch Williamstown and our development squad and just see how some of our kids are developing,the comments I hear on here about Tutt, Redpath , Talia, Roberts, Cambell,Pearce, Jong, and Greenwood who I believe could be as exciting as any Mid fielder on our list astounds me. Cordy,Jones, Dickson,Roughead ,are coming along nicely.Loved your post, keep up the good work Macca and team.Go Doggies.
