Anthony has been good this year but a couple of efforts tody were disgrceful and he deserves to be dropped.

We will probably be weakened by his omission, but we cant stand for that shit.

Well according to contested possessions Anthony has done well for us this yr, and you could probably have footage of every player not going in hard enough. The new whipping boy (as someone pointed out)and certainly not our worst player if anything he has had a very consistant yr as a link man. It is our talls that struggle to impose in Big games, need to go to Moonee Ponds and Buy a bottle of Grunt for them ;)before each Big game, could u call our talls flat track bullies?

Other changes would be good, but I'm not sure which ones to pick. Anthony stays, gets put through his paces at training and told that another game like that and he won't be back at this level for a long, long time. Only real certainty is that Tarrant has never been AFL standard, and there is no good reason why he was out there today.

Oh FFS.

Ziebell has been redundant for three weeks, still radiating in his goal against Geelong and we should drop a bloke in LA that has been near enough the most consistent ball winner for the year.

I have to say, I'm not a Pedo fan. Stop gap. And just not very good.

Slow down... Ziebs was pretty good against the swans and not bad today.. A lot of his in and under work get unnoticed.. It seems he really needs to work on the spread though..

Pedo had his chance and didn't use it.. No one can complain now for him not getting games!!

Cunners. Only kicked three, should've kicked double-figures..

;)

OUT: Anthony, Tarrant, Mullett
IN: Goldstein, Greenwood, McKenzie

Time for young Brad to be thrown into the deep-end. He can play the LA role, with the added intensity.

Liam Anthony will probably be the unlucky man who is made an example of - that some efforts are just not good enough, and let you down even if you do good. Doesn't really deserve to be dropped, but Scott needs to let the playing group, in a proper way, that things need to change

In: Goldstein (depending on VFL form-how did he go this round), McMahon (depending on health), Warren, Hansen & Greenwood also chances-depending on how they went in the VFL this round
Out: Anthony, Tarrant, Pedersen

Oh but there was. For Bon to decide to never give him another chance at AFL level.

I don't want to appear to be picking n you mate but you can throw all the stats in the world at me but as an AFL player merely getting the ball is not enough, you have to make it count. Actually the talls could benefit from some consistent delivery into the forward line.

True no doubt going forward we can kick it better but dropping Anthony who is maybe a mid range player is not going to solve issues. Our big blokes in particular need to impose themselves in games that matter.

Hansen for Tarrant. Goldy for Pedo. McKenzie for Anthony.

Those are the easy ones.

McMahon may not be right. Perhaps he plays VFL instead to get back to 100%. This won't be popular, but Harper might need a spell in the VFL to get his hands on it a bit more. Garlett or Warren I suppose would come in for him.

I wish Speight was in better touch, could be useful.

Out: Anthony (I recognise the good stuff he does but that effort on the wing..), Pedersen, Tarrant
In: Warren, Hansen, Goldstein

Out anthony, tarrent, spud,
In Goldstein, Hansen, greenwood, speight or mckenzie
It's a Sunday game so that's my squad. Spud is solid but he doesn't take care with his dissposal.

It's time to tweak the game plan and structure. Bigger bodies and longer kicking.

In: Goldstein, McMahon, Hansen, Warren

McMahon, Delaney, Firrito
MacMillan, Thompson, Atley
Wells, Swallow, Harvey
Adams, Petrie, Warren
Edwards, Hansen, Thomas

Goldstein, Ziebell, Cunnington

Sub: Wright

Not every player has to be an inside mid but every player has to put his head over the ball and go when he has too.

Agreed. I saw it, and if the coach coaches the way he played, I think Anthony could be on borrowed time. Not to mention his skill level and decision making is appalling, and mostly due to pressure. I also don't want to pour hot water over McInstosh but we're better off as Goldstein as the ruckman. I can't believe a bloke of about 108kg can have so little physical presence.

Speight or McKenzie can come in also if Bon feels like. Anthonys kicking was deplorable so not sure if the cut will be made.

What effort of Anthony's are talking about.
Time for Goldy to come in for Hamish.
Hamish adds hardly anything to us as a team.
Grima and Hansen in for Tarrant and Pedo.

What a ****ing joke!!

Hamish stays... no doubt about it!!!

Couldn't agree more.

Despite what the stats said, McIntosh was ****ing killed by Cox today, in every sense of the word.

Can't fathom the reasoning behind Goldstein not being able to play the sole ruck role in pre-season, yet McIntosh gets the nod for that very role in the season proper (disregarding Goldy's form).

Blind freddy can see Todd is an infathomably better ruckman than Hank.

You give Todd a whole game, ala 2011, he will be back to his 15/40 disposals/hitouts ratio.

Some ruckman can't play the second ruck role well, unfortunately, it happens to be both of ours.

I'll be the first to admit I was quick to jump on Ziebell earlier but I think LA has had a decent enough year to stay in another week.

Not having seen any stats, Basti was another that has had a relatively solid year that seemed fairly non existent today.

Btw, who took Masten out of the game? If it was one of the above, I'll withdraw my comments.
