Don't worry to much about the players, Laidley's performance once again against a coach that has half a brain was woeful. I am sick and tired of our team falling the same trap game after game against teams that play numbers around the ball. Pathetic performance by Laudley AGAIN. He has to go at the end of the year and we need to get a coach that understands todays game.

We looked slow and have no system. Players to go with Laidley should be Brown, Watt, Power, Hale and S thompson. The players are not up to it.

What a pathetic and lame effort tonight and we deserve to be kaned by all and sundry.

One more thing, drop Jones his kicking is rubbish and needs to learn how to kick.

I say drop Wells but it will not happen.

Smith, Gibson, Swallow, Sinclair should be in the running.

Watt, Brown, Thompson possible outs.

Drop Wells? Few players before him.

Very few.

Try the following:

Watt
Hale
Pratt
Harris
Power
Jones
S Thompson

The above have been crap. At least Wells has got the ball but pretty hard to do anything when others are as impotent as 100 yo's cok.

Am I the only one who thinks we would of benefited from Hansen playing tonight?

He was excellent in similiar conditions against the Bulldogs in the NAB cup.

Drop Pratt? Are you serious?
He has towelled up most small forwards in the last 2 years.
Backline will look much better with Gibson and Jesse Smith back.
Brown, Scott Thompson, Josh Smith will struggle to play against the Eagles.
Bring in Urquhart, foot skills are required.

Scott Thompson played pretty badly.

Wells had a pretty good game, work rate was good. Few glimces of brilliance. He just needs to get his kicking efficency better.

Surely we cant drop Josh Smith after a game in conditions like that.

The kid never stopped trying and needs another chance with some decent delivery.

I reckon Scotty Thompson has a future with us, breathing new life into the number 37 jumper Joel Perry made famous - but he got shown up a touch tonight.

I could give you a nice long detailed paragraph on why Brown absolutely shouldn't be picked for us ever again, but ____ it, it has been done to death on here. Dropped.

Power woeful, but has credits. Up to Riggio, Sinclair, or Urqs to put their hand up next weekend for the spot.

Corey Jones was shit, but that's Corey. It either works or it doesn't.

The wiper is right though, we went far too tall.

Corey Jones would be ahead of anyone on tonights effort.

We will beat WCE even if we have no changes.

Gibbo and Smith will be the likely ins.

Gibson has to come in for Scott Thompson who isn't ready yet; not tight enough. Gibbo is vital to our structure.

Smith is vital to our offensive efforts, to help support Harvey and allow Wells more freedome (as he doesn't deal well with pressure).

Watt continues to be maligned unfairly. He didn't have a brilliant game, but then again neither did Pratt or Firrito. Drew was doing it all himself it seemed.

I think we miss Swallow's attack on the ball, his tackling and his in and under work, but I confess to feeling somewhat gun-shy from his early games this year where his peripheral vision and pace really caught him out.

I'll be lambasted for this, but wondering if Harding couldn't spend a bit of time forward for Edwards. If he did what Azza did, roaming between wing and the 50 and apply some pressure to their backs. Sinclair to go back.

I didn't think he was too bad RB. He was definitely exposed against Adelaides tall marking forwards.

He isn't even a third tall defender, but I think he will make a defender.

I had to laugh at all the people this week that pencilled him in as a future FB/CHB. No hope of that happening.

Ins, hitting targets when not under pressure, awareness and common sense smart football
Out Poor decision making, missing targets ;)
We should beat the Eagles another bogie side in recent yrs due to their injuries and form. The Crows are always clinical and play smart and we still havent countered it for a number of games, but one day we will.

Then he should be delisted at season's end because he is definitely not worth much as anything other than a KP player. If he isn't up to scratch there, there is no way he will make it as part of the medium/small defenders group.

See, it's hard because last week Sansbury was stand out awful, but today it's oh so hard to single anyone out as being more crap than any of the rest of them.

But FWIW, I'm on the BF DROP POWER bandwagon, he was worse than crap mainly because he kept insisting on getting the ball - at least Sansbury didn't touch the thing. Power just kept turning it over. And Scott Thompson should give way to Gibson, he's not done yet.

So I think that's Jesse Smith and Gibbo back, now if only I could find room for Sinclair. Oh hang on Browny. We lose: size. We gain: a guy who actually knows how to use the ball.

(yes, I know I usually defend him, which should give an indication of how cross I am . . .)
