Are you saying balance will be a consideration, or that none will be dropped, period?

I'm saying that right now, none of the three are going to get dropped for form reasons, as there seem to be a few question marks over performances in this thread.

Obviously that could change in a fortnight, but talk of bringing in Pedersen (who I rate) for a bloke who took nine marks and kicked a goal is a little odd.

Hansen? He did a power of work.

There's no chance he will be dropped.

I agree Hansen was the one who did all the hit up work to give Drew and Taz some space. People look at the score sheet and make their judgement based on he didn't kick goals, but don;t underestimate the power of work he put in.

Hansen is also a lot smater than Taz. Taz has to learn that there is a time to take your opponent away from the ball. Too often he brings his defender into a contest that he should be staying out of. You watch Hansen he knows when to stay out of the contest and keep his opponent out of spoiling Drew or Taz.

Don't think Keys is necessary. Narni, Thompson and Spud should get the job done.

They might be very tall in their fwd line.
They might have gumby, Hurley,Ryder and carmeri in there.

The match ups for our current side might be
Ryder - Grima
Gumby - spud
Hurley - Thompson
Carmeri- McMahon/wright

Might need another tall but that will impact our run out of defence.
Would rather we play to our strengths and go head to head with our game plan hopefully coming out on top.

For that to happen, they have to name Ryder and Crameri first. That's also assuming they don't drop Bellchambers and play Ryder as the #1 ruck and that Hurley plays forward.

We should just pick our best 22.

Crameri won't play.

Bit of a nothing player, let him run around. If he's getting it than we are losing the clearance battle. Anyway we just play tough footy like the Saints game and he'll be scared to go near it.

He needs watching as his kicking can set up Hurley, Ryder and Gumby.

Pisser. The North facebook page is trolling.

North Melbourne Football Club

Essendon - North Melbourne's opponent next Sunday - has just lost by 4 points, meaning North is 7th.

What were your thoughts on Essendon and how should North prepare for arguably its biggest clash of the season?

I'd prefer wright to tag heppell

No point tagging The Spaceman.

He was good enough to be named as emergency.

IMO the ball came out too easily today, and Hansen in particular offers little when the ball hits the deck. Black is also able to set up a teammate by hand or foot far better than Hansen, Tarrant and Petrie.

Hasnt been in the bests for Nth Ballarat for a while now and hasn't kicked more than two goals for even longer. If any tall gets called up its either Pedersen or McIntosh.

No way I'd play Mcmahon on Crameri. 6'1" 95kg player with elite speed. You'd have to think Spud would physically match up better. I think we just play our back 6 as we have been. Thompson takes the deepest forward, grima the next and Spud the third tall. Atley plays on the quickest bloke, Wright picks up the creative type and Mcmahon picks up hopefully the 6th best forward to allow him to create.
