Continuity! He’s lucky to have 22 afl ready players to select!I'll be honest, I'm getting enjoyment when the cameras go to a much more animated Pyke. He's clearly feeling the pressure that comes with poor results but he's got no answers because of his belief that continuity wins football matches. On one hand we've got the old saying about the definition of insanity and on the other we've got AFL coach Don Pyke arguing that it's best practice. Seeing as our year is shot, I'm hoping that more and more pressure mounts and some core beliefs are broken or at least questioned.
Beer goggles have always been my choice, when needing to choose best or at least the more likely option.Let's hope he has the Durant goggles on.![]()
Kelly and Atkins are hardly senior players.McKay for Wilson
Atkins for Gaucc
Kelly for Hampton
There's 3 I don't think we lose too much with
Just a side note - Perth's stadium is 6m wider but 2m shorter than AO. I wish OA was made shorter and wider to get closer to the MCG dimensions. The team needs to work as a whole, especially on the large ground that is Perth Stadium.
Never heard of "under promise and over deliver"?How long did they say Tex’s mini pre-season would be?

Had a chat to Dr Google the other day. He suggested most groin surgery's needed about a 3 month rehab periodWith Tex being selected a few weeks early, the silver lining in it is maybe Brad Crouchs surgery isn't really season ending after all

Walkers injury woes couldn't be that bad, his last kick in the side was a 75m bomb. It was more of a conditioning issue according to the man himself.Ironically a broken hand is the type of injury you can play with and not make worse. Broken is broken. All the soft tissue and plantar fascia types on the other hand...
Ironically continuity is a big thing for you, you've been gunning for Don continuously since he got here.I'll be honest, I'm getting enjoyment when the cameras go to a much more animated Pyke. 0-6 to start 2017 says that they didn't cope well when missing a number of senior players.Sydney?

A - He played less than 3 quarters, due to the eye injury.19 touches at 52% and 2.4 isn’t a good game from Douglas - it’s another ‘nearly’ game.
Surely it’s not worst than the scrapes course they played on in Alice Springs a fortnight ago?Anyone else nervous about playing on the hardest deck in the AFL with our injury history?
