I have no doubt, if he hadn't have got injured, LJ would have been playing post Walker and even possibly if Walker was still fit. Our forward line hasn't functioned that well for most of the year so it would have been ludicrous (after Walker went down) to have a guy kicking bags in the SANFL each week and not come in.

To say he is completely out of favour at the crows is a simplistic view.

Vader,Vader, Vader........................

Sydney was so convinced that LJ couldn't play that they offered him another 2 year contract. Ultimately they had plenty of key forwards at the time and were naturally expecting $KIRT to get home sick. Do you think that Sydney are poor judges of a footballer?

Our selectors have lacked vision regarding our younger players. Lynch is too slow and too short to play as the third tall forward so they ignore him all last year despite great form at the nBay. They eventually give him a go and find that he fits in beautifully.

Same story with Lyons, Crouch is pidgeonholed as an inside mid so is played sparringly. He is eventually played on the wing and looks fantastic.

Once LJ has played 3 or 4 games in a row then you and others can examine the evidence and make a judgement based on the facts.

Will Grigg slot in across half back? Or straight in the middle?

I know he has been playing midfield for Norwood but I'd rather see him eased in across half back and Smith a permanent run in the middle rather than the odd cameo on a wing.

I believe the same thing would have happened with Brodie Martin. You cant give a PLAYER 30 mins of the interchange bench and then leave it at that

Its a bit unfair to throw LJ to the wolves against Geelong for his first game of AFL footy in a year. I expect them to play him next week, after another full game in the SANFL.

Lynch was underdeveloped last year. St.Kilda hadn't put any weight on him, and it took a year to get the Ross Lyon/St.Kilda syndrome out of him:thumbsu: I agree he could have maybe made a difference in the preliminary final instead of petrenko

Crouch and Lyons should play the rest of the year in the midfield, none of this forward line rubbish. get them in the centre and let them improve for next year

vb to tag selwood.
vb shows his uncanny ability to be smothered, kick a worm burner to no one, or hit an opposition player lace out.
selwood racks up a lazy 'ineffectual' 19 touches to half time.
vb moves onto stevie j for the second half.

If by this you mean he's subbed off and goes and sits next to him in the grandstand, then I hope you're correct.

Tamblings last chance?
Has Tambling actually been selected, seriously? Or just guessing?
Time to shine mate or you're gone.
Before the umpire even picks up his whistle, I can give you the answer to that one right now. Can bet the house on it.

But what truly has me more confused than The Twilight Zone is that apparently he did well in boxing training in the recent Preseasons. How can anyone box, when they can't even get out of their own way when out on the paddock and trip over their own feet?

Mate of mine a Sturt supporter has been flogging himself over Tambling for most of this season and is more than happy for the Crows not too select him. Concedes that there is obviously a mental barrier taking the step up from SANFL to AFL because physically and form wise he is ready.

Any Sturt supporters on here get to many games can verify this ? How did Blinga go in the VFL when with Richmond and not playing 1sts ??

I have seen a few sturt games this year and Tambling has been pretty good, sometimes has dodgy disposal though, it might be a mental thing with him but if he got a 4 game block and performed he is probably worth keeping on tbh

As I haven't seen him play in the SANFL, I can't comment myself. But if there is any footage of Tambling getting out on the paddock and not tripping over himself, I'd line up to see it. Not at all am I saying he lacks effort, but every time he's put on a Crows Guernsey, it's like he's got his boots on back to front with his laces tied together and his hands tied behind his back .

Probably the wrong thread guys, but found a web page today with "30 reasons I dont go outisde" and it was essentially the worst sunburn cases in pictures. Anyway I didnt realise that VB had spent too long in the sun at some point
