Wishful thinking with D. Pearce being dropped but he was just god awful tonight, near AusKick level. Want to see what Deluca brings to the table, if he completely stinks it up and he's dropped the following week then delist, if he shows something, let him stick around until the end of the year.

Barlow was at 3 weeks a few days ago. So unlikely. Means 6 weeks most likely anyway.

Nobody seems to have made a huge claim to get into the team. So it should more be about who do we want to try (again) in the team from Deluca, Hughes (Yarran even Morabito). At least we could do a few changes without damaging our "you have to earn games"-code atm. We are low on players anyway and rested somebody like Weller give us the opportunity to play somebody is hasn't been top at WAFL level.

And our ruck stock s look so bad, don't know what to do about it. Prefer Griffin but he probably needs a backup, he doesn't seem to be in form to ruck alone.

No harm seeing how Deluca performs at AFL Level. Give him the nod and bring Barlow in. I'd take Tucker and Langdon out.

Unfortunately it looks like Yarren and Mora are close to our worst two players at Peel, no promotion.

Langdon played well in the last quarter. His kicking is precise when he has the ball (50 m lace out pass to Pav), deserves another chance much like that of Tucker/Weller/Blakely have been getting. Tucker needs time. Obviously an adjustment issue with AFL level.

Barlow obvious. Deluca's worth a shot and Yarran, although he hasn't lit the world on fire, is our best bet of looking more dangerous forward.
We have 0 run, yet I'm taking out 3 runners. The players we've needed to stand up this year, have been the ones that go missing and I know Weller/Tucker are young and this is fair enough but my god does D.Pearce piss me off. Constantly gets beat for pace and makes terrible decisions. I think we've lost heart, which is understandable given the year from hell, but these 3 inclusions would add heart to our side.

Though I suspect we might bring Clarke in again given he had almost 60 hit outs for Peel. In which case it may mean Deluca or Hughes spend another week at Peel.

Would like to see Morabito and Yarran pushing for the team this week in the game against East Freo. Yarran should hopefully see the ball coming inside 50 more with Weller, Tucker, De Boer and Mzungu in the side.

Yep, really difficult game to build players for AFL who have been out all year. Just don't think you can reasonably expect Yarran or Mora to be competitive in the AFL until they play another 2 WAFL games minimum.

The only players who are AFL hardened at the moment in Peel are DeLuca and Clarke - oh happy days!
