Ben Speight doesn't deserve it after a couple of good games in the VFL, especially considering he was nearly playing for the development squad not long ago. Garner has been showing promise at VFL level so he deserves that forward spot

Maybe not, but its funny how B.Scott seems to have destroyed a few very promising careers in a short space of time, Speight was our recognised 'super-sub' at one point before being sent to oblivion and Pedo was our next power forward after some stunning performances and getting a contract, before suffering the same fate and then being traded. Just 2 examples that spring to mind.

Good to see Taz back, and Jack was always going to come straight back in.

Pretty uninspiring changes nonetheless. Anthony dropped was a given, and Wright deserved to be dropped. But Wright isn't a senior player, just an underperforming mid-tier player. Would have much preferred to see a senior player or two get the axe, particularly given we're playing GWS. I know we don't deserve to be complacent given our form this year, but you would have thought Spud or Adams could have been given a spell this week so we could take a look at a youngster against GWS.

On a side-note, you think the West Coast and Adelaide losses made bigfooty explode? Wait and see what happens if McKenzie is made sub...you'll see a real board crash!

Ive backed selection all the way, we've been very competitive and in some cases unlucky (meh ok choking) but for mine this week was time to make some more changes. We've backed the start of season best 22 all the way but they've failed to deliver, our season is shot so lets see what some of the better performed VFL players have to offer. Dropping the likes of Spud, Adams doesnt mean end of career or anything, at least not to me. They're capable but out of form and will be at least good depth players if the youngsters stand up.

pretty sure it was Speight's shoulder reco and lack of confidence after that resulted in his ruined career. It is amazing how Brad does a few things wrong and is blamed for everything (I hear he was responsible for 9/11 also!). Yes he isn't perfect but jesus christ.

I thought Adams played his best game of the year against Freo. It was still eye bleedingly poor, but an improvement!

My only hope is that our good Brad plays the whole game, he can't possibly be Sub.
