Outs (sigh):
Cox (inj) Sandi (inj) Sheridan (inj) McCarthy (susp)
Ins:
Blakely, S. Hill, Nyhuis (debut), E Langdon/ J Deluca-Cardillo

Would leave us small but better at the contest.

Ins That Actually Happen In Ross Land ("ITAHIRL")
Blakes, SHill, Sutcliffe, Tabs.
Actually can see Sutcliffe in.. please don't let it be.

Out

Grey: I think the tough as nails novelty has worn off with this bloke.

McCarthy: Suspended.

Logue: no way ready. Looks so lost out there. Game too fast for him.

Sandi: Injured. Don't like to see the big guy injured but this could be a blessing in disguise. Darcy to lead the ruck for the rest of the year is exciting.

Crozier And Sheridan might hang in there.

Ins: SHill, Blakley, Taberner, Nyhuis

So what's the go with Balic exactly? What injury is he carrying? I hope we're not playing him because we know he's leaving or something. A youngster getting bubble wrap treatment over our older players doesn't really make sense either.
Nothing untoward going on with Balic. Ross's mid week presser on our website indicated that Harley Balic wanted to play this week as that is also what Harley told me at training last Friday week. He hasn't reached the magic numbers this week to get the sports science guys clearance to commence playing. Harley Balic and his house mate Harley Bennell should both play for Peel next week.

wtf are you all on about? Dream big...

In: Bennell, Blakely, Langdon, Balic, Deluca, Nyhuis

edit - missed SHill - whoops!
That's what I'm talking about. Will make competition for the 22 very strong. That's a lot of changes, out maybe: Sandilands, McCarthy, Sheridan, Crozier, Logue, Tucker.

Ross certainly didn't appreciate his brain fade show of strength to over turn Ballas goal.

Ross mentioned Logue as improving . Thought he did the job he was picked for. Spoilt, harassed and kept his opponent to an average game. Not much more a defender can do. Why the urgency to drop a youngster who in this rebuild season should be playing as many minutes as we can get into him. Same goes for Cox, Ryan,Darcy and Grey. Nyhuis definitely needs to play out the season in the seniors as well.

Grey need to play one or two game at WAFL.

The thing with Logue is that he missed spoils he should've made, he didn't halve contests that he should have, he fumbled or slipped under pressure and he was too slow or made the wrong decision on more than one occasion. It is the small things like these that 'naturals' get right more often than they don't. I'm sure he'll come good but he is out of his depth atm.

So hard to speculate with potential new injuries/recoveries/suspensions over the next week.

Think if Balic, Bennel and Langdon are fit they'll play Peel next week.

Hill to come straight in if fit, and Blakely will be very likely due to present elite form.

Nyhuis has to debut as well.

Ins: Blakely, Hill and Nyhuis
Outs: Sandilands (inj), Sheridan, Can't think of the third.

Deluca unlucky?

Grey harasses but maybe Need more, Crozier had a better game but still on the fringe... Tucker average but he was awesome last week :/ really tough outs actually.

Maybe Ryan/Logue to make way.

Weird how it's a pretty tough team to get into and we're not finals competitive.

We have another youngster who is dominating at Peel in Sam Collins. Shouldn't he be rewarded for his effort and form?

Or next 10
Don't mind either . Players bashing is kind of normal in this forum. At least playing for peel in wafl can just relax and chill.

I feel for Sam, but he seems quite limited and I believe that is why he isn't getting a look. I suspect whatever reason saw him dropped back to Peel hasn't improved. No one doubts his ability to take a mark. I don't think Ross has a vendetta.

Out: Sandi, Sherro, ????
In: Hill, Blakely, Nyhuis

Probably short but whatever, not like the tall forwards rip it up anyway. Nyhuis to debut but not sure who's expense. No doubt someone else is injured so them probably.
Hope the Harleys and Ed get on the park for Peel this week.

Collins had a great game on the weekend (11 defensive marks), Logue did some good things but needs a spell.

With finals out of contention, maybe time to give Johnson a potential preservation test and give Collins a solid chance to prove himself.
