Even then, a change can be made during warm up (such as Collingwood made last night with Cloke out for White).

The only way a team can make a change that late is if there is a warm up injury. Once final teams are done 90mins before bounce, only medical changes can be made, not tactical. Or so i believe to be the case.

All true - just how much "medical" evidence is needed though, one has to wonder.

Grant does have a broken nose so you'd think they could get out of it easily enough. But Bevo doesn't seem the type to play games so I don't expect a change unless genuine need

Doctor has to suss it out, and agree they can't reasonably complete the game with the injury. Not sure if it's a neutral doctor or club doctor though.

That's if you play someone who isn't listed as an emergency. Hence most teams putting three diff types of players as the emergencies. Cover all bases.
