Terribly biased with the obvious playing up to Cousins and the Richmond fans.

Embarrassed for Hudson with his comment of "that could've been out on the full" after watching the replay numerous times, it clearly came off Reid's leg and took a bounce well before the line.

Everyone was against us tonight, and we still smashed those pretenders by 8 goals. Should have been > 12.

Luke Darcy chips in with some really positive stuff about Collingwood and knows his players. He and Chrisso are the saving grace, especially when Quarter-brain is in top gear.

yes. channel 10s commentary is absolutely terrible.. its lucky for us we have one of our own there to provide some enthusiasm when collingwood is doing something right..

Absolutely woeful, but I have come to expect it from TV commentry.
All the talk was about the Tigers, and not just about Cousins.
What about good signs from a young Magpie outfit with a guy Captaining only his second game?
And I tell you what, if it was Collingwood leading the free kick count by 400% that moron Walls would not have shut up about it.
Not one word til after the ad break though when Richmond are gifted a goal after being awarded a downfield kick in the goalsquare when the ball landed at least 5m out of the square.
Once again, situations reversed and the would have been all over it.
Shits me to tears just in case you can't tell.

Would listen to radio commentary if it weren't for these crapola delays as well.

The singularly most embarrassing telecast of a game of footy I've ever had the experience of watching.

I swear until 3/4 time the Pies barely rated a mention. In fact, you could be forgiven for asking who the blokes were in the black & white jumpers, because there were no hints coming from the commentary team who far too busy giving us minute details on the percentage of game time Cousins had played in that point and crapping on with Dorothy Dixers like, "Rob, what do Richmond have to do to become a top 8 side?"

Wasn't until the last quater that they seemed to realise, "Hang on the Non-Richmond side is 5 goals up, maybe we should mention them".

The only saving grace is the same fate awaits Carlton in round 1 when the Channel 10 sycophants roll out the Ben Cousins' Tribute Match Mk II.

I'm glad someone started this thread. I went to the game at the dome then got home in time to watch half of the third and all of the last quarter on Ten.

Will Channel Tens contract finish already so Eddie can get the footy back where it belongs on 9?!

*The game at the dome was very fast and exciting, apart from the messy 2nd quarter, but as usual Ten have a way of turning the best games into the biggest borefests EVER.

*The commentators are all total boring fuddy duddy toolbags and 80% of their comments are always negative

*They dont put enough background (crowd) noise into the commentary so there is always NO atmosphere (at least 7 get this part right)

* The camerawork is appauling and how many times does something great happen on the field and when they show the replay it is the WRONG play.

At least it encourages you to go to the games instead...so next week turn off the telly and head down and support the boys.

Man it was shocking. Robert Walls is totally useless. And the Cousins Love-in! Arg!

The only time they talked about the fact that Cousins is not their lord and saviour was for a 10 second section of the post match analysis.

Walls started off almost sickeningly favouring us with his call. I think the powers that me might have had a pre-game chat to him. All that was forgotten when Reid dribbled the ball over the line with his shin.

The worst is the Carlton trio of Walls, Lane and Maher, hate all 3 of em.

I can put up with Quarters and Hudson although listening to Quartermain moisten his pants every time Buddy's playing is painful.

Darcy is generally quite good with his comments.

1.Foxtel: easily the best except when freo and west coast are playing and jars gets a bit bias a pity not everyone acces
2. Seven: pretty even nothing special
3. Ten: One word bias

Prerry much agree with that, with the exception of when N Buckley does special comments for Ch 7; which raises the standard significantly.
