Cameron should be a key target but why on earth would he want to come to us?
One of the problems sinking as low as we have is we have become very much an unattractive fit for really anyone.
He also apparently wants to get paid after playing for unders for his output from his last contract.

Burnt up the pre season and played a good half against Brisbane.

Definitely has the talent, but some of his efforts and intensity at times look awful. Doesn't get out of first gear even when the ball is in his area to impact.

Can't see pies letting him go cheaply while under contract and we aren't really in a position to be trading in 30 year olds for high currency. If he's happy to come next year we should throw a big enough bag at him and tell him we're going to lowball the pies and to come through the PSD if they don't accept the offer.

HTF do we fix the Ruck situation???....Even if we did take CDT, he'll take years to develop.

Flynn dominates at state level, I doubt if we could find another better going that route. (Crossley if he got fitter would at least contest better and hurt his oppo)

AFL Rucks out of contract 2025 that would be an improvement on Flynn

ROB
TDK ($$$$$$$$)
Nick Bryan
Rhys Stanley (old)
Knobel (Had his arse kicked by Crossley and would take time.)
Lloyd Meek

Realistically, Nick Bryan may be gettable but he'll be coming back from a season ending knee.
ROB perhaps another short term option. Yes he vanilla but he's Madagascan Vanilla at least, not the cheap imitation Vanilla we have now.

Any way you come at it, it really makes for miserable reading.

Somehow the club has to make a miracle happen.

We need to go back in time and pick up that 7'11 guy channel 7 found at footlocker Morley a few years back and almost puff pieced into the mid season draft. Bloody Simmo, no imagination.

I see your point but we definitely also ain’t in a position to keep out out what we do in the ruck every week.

Pies could have a Father son in the teens so they would only likely want points this year. Very hard one to predict a trace this far out especially with so many FS, NGAs for both clubs being around the 10-40 mark.

AFL clubs normally get a deal done when there is a big gap in the deals and they can’t pay the same. Even more so when the player has given the service he has for unders.

I think Cameron stays and the Eagles and even Blues link is all about getting as much as he can.

The whores on his island slipped phil the good stuff if he thought Owies was anything other than garbage.

Just remember I was told the players to chase and how hard to and If I could get commitment then Clarke produced a contract offer.

Over the course of the season I got 8 commitments. That turned out being just 1 player landed. Graham and Baker I didn't have a role in.

I must admit though **** me outside of some tackling pressure Owies has been absolute horse shit. We got the wrong player that Carlton lost as Matt Kennedy instead of Jack Mcrae is looking like an almighty boost to the dogs.

Macrae is looking like an almighty boost for the Saints.

Just proves what is one teams trash can be another teams treasure if they fill a role that’s needed.

I’m sure Owies is regretting picking the Eagles over the Suns if as reported was the case.

Cameron stays if he doesn't care about the money. He'd be on 400K at the moment and the pies won't be giving him more than 650K to stay.

The issue then becomes what would we be willing to give up to get a deal done? Collingwood need points, and in the even that Cameron leaves they need a ruckman.

Macrae looks good until he plays against good mids. Go back and watch him get monstered at the clearance vs the dogs.

Not sure if you are serious? If so explains a lot…..(if you had anything to do with the list team)

Was pretty elite against Crows, Cats, Lions Dockers ect…….

Oh and it's 400k + match payments a year for 3 years.

After paying way too much for Haynes Carlton could only afford to offer Owies 250k for 1 year and Matt Kennedy a little bit more.

Carlton's cap space is ****ed. They will seriously struggle to hold onto TDK.
Kennedy was contract for 2025.

Then they might need to jettison some players.

It’s not too late to send Blowies to the Gold Coast to write a wrong provided that have not watched a single second of him playing for the Eagles.

If they have then we’re ******.

I hope we were at the Brisbane vs Gold Coast VFL game scouting some talent. Id be wanting 4 players from that game. Throw 10 contracts out and hope 4 come at this point
Should be some Gettable talent there. Playing VFL and more elite talent incoming via the draft for them plus free agency/trade

Thought he was a must last year but Alex Davies gotta be targetted heavily. Id also say the same about James Tunstill. At the miimum those 2 should be targetted heavily with 4 year deal type headturners.

Yeah both would be top of my cheap mids search.

I thought Sheldrick hasn’t looked clean in his games earlier in the year but his game today when he came was good as sub, so hard to judge. Would probably be next in line with a Sam Berry.

Ed Allan but not many leave the Pies and still contracted so would cost a bit.
