Could some teams do with a bit of re-branding?

Well, not teal, it offends me.

#rebranding

I admit that a guernsey that's predominately teal isn't the greatest, but as a secondary colour to the black (like on our currently home guernsey) it mixes great and creates that awesome colour combination. No other teams colours are as appealing than the black and teal.

I like the teal and white on black, but, no.

West Melbourne might still survive in their own right if the Kangawho's hadn't eaten them in the early 1900's.

Collingwood- slumdog millionaires
Western Warfies

Branding is a double edged sword, The Dockers copped one a few years ago, i feel for the better. New theme song which is a big improvement, but utterly short, redesigned jumper with chevrons as the focal point instead of the anchor which created an uproar initially, but now is generally accepted as a better kit. Lost alot of branding, particularly of what a docker is, but now its seems alot cleaner and less gimmicky.
Dockers new logo is shite though both the style of the anchor and the overemphasis of the word Dockers.

When all the club song debate was happening, I really liked the Eskimo Joe version that was put up. Always thought it would have sounded awesome after a Freo win with all you mad Dockers fans screaming at the top of your lungs.

I really didnt like the chorus, but it could have been workable. I still prefer what we have now, but just a longer song.

Credit to Eskimo Joe, they did well.

Wrong. Our membership is significantly higher than when we were Footscray, and our corporate support has increased exponentially.

The last season that we were known as Footscray was 1996 - we had only 10,650 members.

That number doubled within 2 seasons of us being rebranded the Western Bulldogs, reaching a peak of 34,842 in 2010.
All club memberships have increased.

If you're happy with WB, fine. But in 1954 it was NOT Western Bulldogs that won the premiership
