The Sydney peeps on BF are still bitter about Dawson. Him leaving has stuck in their craw.

We paid a fair price for him at the time of trade, and it ended up being a good one for us.
As for Sydney, the pick we gave them was used to draft Weddle, so if they had of kept it after bidding on Michalanney, they could have had him as a replacement.
Also Sydney did us a favour as Michaelaney being a first round pick in a year where we traded our own first pick away was good to keep us in check of the at least 2 in 4 years rule

Forward Josh Rachele, midfielder Jake Soligo, defender Max Michalanney and utility Dan Curtin all feature in the 40-man squad announced by the AFLPA on Wednesday.

Rachele will be looking to make it three-straight 22Under22 selections following an impressive 2025 season that has yielded 25 goals from just 13 games.

Soligo has been included in the squad for the second year in a row, after featuring in all 20 of the Crows’ matches this season and averaging 21.5 disposals per game through the midfield.

Michalanney continues to be a critical piece of Adelaide’s defence, and earns back-to-back squad selections after another consistent season.

Curtin’s breakout 2025 season has resulted in his first selection in the 22Under22 squad, with the utility averaging 13.8 disposals and 4.6 marks from 20 games this season.

The AFLPA’s 22Under22 is fan voted and recognises the best players aged under 22 during the home and away season.

Voting closes at 11.59pm on Wednesday, August 13, with the final team announced on Wednesday, August 20.

Help get all four Crows in the final team!

Channel 9 said 17,500 gold membership sold out, that number makes more sense
Corbin Middlemass said yesterday in something I watched I think on the AFL site with Jon Ralph some offer the Crows had made to Gold Members had led to 3,500 signing up to the deal and $3.5M jumping into the Crows coffers?

How much Crows history do you have?

I also have my ticket to the 1st game along with newspaper clippings from the GF days

Old shirts and badges somewhere but the 1st game ticket is my highlight

1st game ticket is cool, great win against the Hawks too. I have a 1997 warm up jacket signed by Andrew Jarman before he got the flick from Blight.

It's also only if GWS make the grand final
Do you know how it works organising GF tickets through another club via their memberships?

I thought each club were allocated tickets (maybe a few K each) to use as they see fit?

If GWS make it they will be allocated 17500 - as would any club

They would struggle to get 17500 genuine want to go members - so its a better lottery than waiting on 23000 AFC Silver Member balloting

I think each non-competing club gets an allocation of - I think 1500 - to onsell as packages to make a little cash
