I've been in one in the Western Stand, it's certainly big enough to stab pass a footy 15-20m

I thought the deal was that us and Port get permanent rooms and the other rooms rotate depending on the user of the Oval? I.e when the British and Irish Lions play they don't get to use the Crows or Port rooms?

I thought they did use the Crows/Port rooms for the British and Irish Lions match, though the away race was used for both sides to enter/exit the field.

Also, the Crows/Port rooms have been used for SANFL finals not involving Crows/Port in the past. I know Centrals used our room for last years’ finals series.

Adelaide’s membership has soared to new heights, with the Crows exceeding 80,000 members for the first time in the Club’s history.

The total membership tally currently sits at 81,067, above the previous record of 75,477 members tabled in 2024. It’s the third year in a row Adelaide has broken its all-time record.

Hi all - have enjoyed watching your boys this year, and am looking forward to finals.

Anyway, just wanting to get opinions on James Borlase. I see he is an UFA after next season, and reckon there'll be a few clubs seriously looking at him this year as a key defender, especially when some of those teams have so little to work with (North, Dogs, etc...)

Anyway, came here to ask how his SANFL form has been, for those who have watched? Has it been the fact that the Crows' defence is so damn deep as the reason we have not seen him much in 2025? He kind of got his spot last year due to the multitude of injuries you guys copped, but as a fourth-string key defender, he is not likely to get a look in unless there are several injuries again.

Anyway, I look forward to hearing from those who have some info. Cheers - HB

He’s had a very solid year at sanfl but sits at the end of the KPD queue behind Keane, Murray and Butts.

He’s a natural intercept defender and a good decision maker, but at 192cm he is slightly undersized and doesn’t make up for it athletically.

He’s under contract for next year but I’d imagine we would be more willing to let him go to another club than Butts who is also contracted.

Good article from Mick Warner about Richard Goyder and his tenure on the AFL commission

Worth the short read

Warner’s book The Boys Club is great too.

He’s the rare journo/opinion writer, maybe the only one, who is prepared to give it to the AFL with both barrels. Pretty much all of them are to scared about losing access to really seriously criticise the big wigs.

Pretty much,

He's old school, an actual investigative journalist

The Boys Club is a 100% recommend for any football fan

A bit trivia - a shame he didn't put the numbers in

So when the Dogs had bad quarters, they were often really bad.... their defence was their Achilles.

Should we boycott Balfours?

Should we boycott Balfours?

I already do.

Villis far better quality.

This is something that everyone repeats.

They are both pretty comparable in quality, both are pastries filled with testicles, lips and gravy.
No way are they comparable!
