Fyfe was easily the best player on the ground. would have been a good payback for when they gave it to Judd when we won.

Will never happen with WC stooges giving the votes, and the man himself able to override decisions they make.
I have a feeling that if the rolls were reversed fyfe would have won it. By that I mean, if FFC were up by 30 and Fyfe was an eagle yesterday.

Awwww poor Dockies :D

Nat played a great game, your only player that had any real impact.
However, when you lose by over 5 goals you should never be a chance 4 the medal..Even though we had a good balanced game, atleast 3 players should and were voted above him.
It really should have gone to Naitanui though, his ruckwork, tackling, pressure etc were amazing..and made Sandi look slow.

Fyfe on the other had had 50% disposal efficiency and 3 clangers. He was dangerous in the sense that he kept on getting the pill, but he was hardly dangerous with it yesterday IMO. Still 'do want' though

You didn't think that goal on the boundary on his left side was "dangerous" ?? Anyway who cares about the medal, I'm more interested in returning serve to you crackheads next opportunity.

Don't take the joint derby thread as an open invitation to stink up our board, and don't let the door hit you in the arse on your way out.

It's a conspiracy I tells ya! And Harvey is in on it! Bloody Victorians!
Now where is that tinfoil?

In fairness it is possible that one coach gave Fyfe BOG - however i'm assuming (always a worry) that because Naitanui was listed first that he got the 5+1 and Fyfe the 3+3

Do you not recall Johnson's lack of effort then subsequent drug use episode in the Collingwood game last year. Others on here (Chops specifically) have quite well noted his problems. It's a mental issue, NOT anything else. He does not come to play.

I have a really bad feeling that Johnson is having a lot of personal/mental issues atm. He has not been himself for a while, nor do I ever see him crack a smile. He just seems to not enjoy himself anymore...

I'm at loss what to think right now. I don't understand. We finished bottom four in 2009, top 8 last year and now were are *just* in the 8, whereas teams like WC won the wooden spoon last year and are back up there!

I don't care what anyone says, something is not right. I am getting extremely frustrated and disappointed with Freo...don't get me wrong, I won't be giving up on them, but god damn it, when will it be our year?

Hmmm...

I think it was a low percentage shot at goal that was lucky to go through - Great shot, but 9/10 times it's a behind which would have been a worse result than if he had centred it.

Looking at this with my "glass half full" approach, we are still in the 8 and play Port next week and Saints the week after. Isn't that something to work with..

I see that as a bad thing. Lose to them and our season won't recover. At the moment they will be looking to playing us as a great opportunity to find some form and will chuck everything at it....will we do the same?

Oi nerd, now you can **** off. Go and enjoy the win, what's the matter with ya?

One players playing his guts out, no matter what his impact, is not going to make up for 6 guys basically doing nothing.
Score doesn't change the fact that he was definitely one of the best out there.

I'm not denying he played a great game at all.
It's just interesting that you say this, yet Chris Judd was booed by every Docker's supporter when he won the medal in a losing derby.

Not sure what your trying to prove by bringing that up, other than provide me with an example of all things being equal the Eagle gets the medal.
And the booing was anger at what was perceived as bias from Eagle stooges.

Just voicing an opinion. Either way, someone else posted in here and it popped up in 'My Friends Update's'.

You're right, I didn't think he should have got it either

Fyfe was that far superior to anyone else on the ground it wasn't funny. Species, freak goals out of nowhere, creating something out of nothing quite often. But I knew they wouldn't give the medal to him, they couldn't take the gloss of West Coasts first win in several years.

If that draft was redone he would be no1.
Seems to really impose his will when the game is on the line ala Judd/Hird.

I hope Freo manage his workload as I would love watching him for years, seems genuinely humble and down to earth as well. I think he is ahead of where Hird was at a similar age.

I think it is safe to say now that it was the decision being booed, not Judd himself. And you are pretty stupid if you haven't already realised this.

All of the "Judd loving" will be proven when he still gets 3 points despite Carlton having a bye.
