Yes and no. Pressure is off in that no one expected us to make finals once we were 4-9 - surprise surprise, the instant that happens they remember how to play footy.

Not frustrating from my perspective. We are playing our best footy at the right time of the year, with key personnel back.
It's set up to give you guys hope again then miss out in a Carlton like manner.

I think both Carlton and St Kilda miss finals, but Carlton's team is way better than St Kilda's, so Lyon has done a better job than Voss
Not sure but Carlton certainly made the right decision in giving Mathieson the Tijuana Brass from the board.

Not sure round 18 is the time to be calling it Elmer. One needs to be given the boot or win a flag for this one to be decided.
From my view Ross will improve the Saints but not get them all the way. I expected a dead cat bounce this year, and they are delivering. 6-12 was always their range.
Voss on the other hand is expected to bring his list into the finals. 4-8 is his range.
Both may end up getting there. This round had brought the saints back slightly and improved the Blues to continue to strive toward expectation.
