Many thanks for this Stranglers. I just called the Membership folks and upgraded my 3-game to 11-game - easy peasy.

Interestingly, they said the offer was aimed at new members, which makes sense, but they processed the upgrade immediately. I was surprised that a new card would be required. Seems that the barcode is specifically linked to the 3-game membership. As an old IT guy this is odd & adds a processing cost to the Club.
