All of a sudden this Brisbane game is huge, And a proper 8 point game, Win this and we not only get a big grip on a top 4 spot but we go into the Hawks game full of confidence and a chance for top 2.

If we lose to Brisbane we go into the Hawthorn game with addad pressure of having to win away to keep any buffer we have on a top 8 spot against a team playing for their season.

To most of the AFL world last week's win in Sydney just looked like us beating up on a struggler, but to me it was a show of power and a team turning the corner.

We will win our next 2 and go into the bye a top 2 chance and serious flag contender.

The Sydney game wasn’t just impressive in terms of the win nor the margin. It was most impressive because we played like team with no emotional baggage.

If we can keep playing freely like that against the Lions and Hawks, then past records will likely become insignificant.

I didn't think it was completely out of the question given our draw and I felt we massively underperformed last year. We have talent on every line now.

Whilst I agree, it also means they look at it from a somewhat neutral perspective and are a bit more objective. Llyod made the point that there aren't many teams who have the weapons that we do and it's not a silly observation.

We finally got the scalp, but we've not been blown away by any top team in years.

Only a single win separates us from top spot! Mind you Collingwood have an extra game to play, but I’m struggling to get my head around this. The Crows providing the extra support to Nicks through Davis might be as big a game changer as a list that is truly maturing together. Whatever it is, I’ll take it!

Effectively we’re 4 games ahead of 9th with our healthy percentage, Dogs obviously with a game in hand. Think when it all washes out we end up somewhere around 4th, 5th, 6th.

Huge games in the run home against the Hawks x 2, Dogs and Suns. All teams likely to be in and around that range as well.
