Nice try troll.

I'm not trolling anything, it's an honest observation.

Lyon may have made the difference for a flag 2-3 years ago, but I doubt you have the cattle right at this moment.

Pavlich is 10 months older than Nick Reiwoldt.
Sandilands feet are a huge issue.
McPharlin is 30 next season.

These 3 players would have to play a huge role in a Lyon coached side and I can't see Lyon making the difference in only 12 months.

Where is your next Pavlich and McPharlin? Where are the big bodied defenders that are required for a team coached in Lyons style?

I think the important elements of your list are too old for Lyons game plan anyway.

We shall have to wait and see how he fares as a "rebuild coach"

$1.5 mill a year for a rebuild coach? Very, very, very steep dollars.

Why do we need to rebuild ?

It's not that steep when you have a successfully run club, that consistently makes profits. Not relying on handouts every year.

You want monkeys, you pay peanuts.

Not suggesting Laidley or Scott are monkeys, but they are not in Lyons Class.

Should you be whinging about the govt making your drug habit illegal?

Hey, I raised good relevant points.

If you guys find them confronting then perhaps you should put forward constructive rebuttals or solutions.

You have the coach but do you really have the cattle to suit the coach?

It's a good question.

The rest of the white noise just rolls off me.

Well, you can always cancel your account and come back with your 20th username.

Seriously, you reckon we can't improve into the top four next year? Then use free agency to build the rest of the list? It's entirely possible

Why do you think the press conference was at Woodside? It's a power play. We want the rest of the league to know we're rich, want to win premierships, and will do what ever it takes to get them.

Teffy, you are ignoring a large proportion of the list who have moved out of their 'apprentice' years into the years where they should be expected to consistently perform at a high level. Yes, a few of the players are in their last couple of years. However, the majority are not. In my opinion this situation will suit Lyon.

Pretty obvious I would've thought. Zac Clarke is the natural successor for Sandilands, Silvangi for McPharlin, and either Morabito or Fyfe for Pavlich depending on what role you're talking about.

Does anyone have video of the news reports?

I wanna get a look at the numpties and their protests.
It was embarrassing.

I felt embarrassed for not only them and their families but for fremantle supporters generally and fremantle supporter's dogs as well.

Luckily a team is more than 3 players...

Enjoy your Hobart Kangaroos in a few years... nah you'll be extinct.:thumbsu:

Shove it up your arse chops! FFS. It was about HOW it was done, not because it was!

And yes, I did go in and speak to Rosich.

I thought I saw her going into the club with Steve

Oh LOL.

I've asked you previously, but you've ducked it, about what could be done to assuage the fallout from the Harvey sacking, whilst at the same time giving the biggest benefit to Freo?

What would you rather they have done?

I would actually like to know seriously.

Being told face to face, and face to face by your boss seems to be incredibly rare these days.

Compare what you know, or what you think you know, to be bad sackings, and contrast that with this situation.

I can assure you, this is not a bad sacking in the circumstances.

Cha cha.

He gets his money.

If he's good enough, he gets another job quickly. Just like those of us who have been shafted in much worse circumstances.

Most will have to scream like bitches to even get paid out, let alone have any dignity. He hasn't even been smeared by his employer. **** me, the amount of shit I've heard about me that isn't true, is enough to make you wriggle.

In the meantime, Freo wouldn't have a shot at the top line coaches.

I think you need to live a bit before you start a lynch mob.

Because you're coming across as someone with very little experience.
And sounding a little dim because of it.

Coochie.

I'll leave the argument here and re-open it on the main board where I can get a fairer hearing.

I am definitely not renewing my membership next year. Been a devoted fan since day 1, but the more I hear about how this sacking of Mark was done, the more disgusted I have become!

So your saying that an employer hasn't the right to terminate an employee's contract?

Take your bat and ball and piss off.

To his face, as soon as the information was in hand? What more do you want??

It's the clubs responsibility to put its best foot forward, moving towards perfection at every single chance. They are in the AFL to win. If they say to Harvey that they are looking to replace him if the chance came up, he may not care much for the next year.

I don't see anyone down there screaming out for Clayton Hinkley, he's been a servant of the club for a long time, not the most damaging player on game day but it takes a lot of commitment to be physically ready to go, for much less money than Harvey was on.

AFL is a meat market, every club wants the best personnel they can. We just scored the best available.
