Why are Seniors and Juniors being treated differently?
The suggested travel restrictions between council areas doesn't differentiate.
We either ALL play or we don`t.

Juniors will turn up dressed to play. Don’t need the rooms before or after the game. Senior players won’t do that. They need taping, massaging etc.
Children are less likely to suffer illness from the the virus. Adults are different. That is why junior footy will go ahead and seniors won’t.
juniors will have 45 minute gap between games allowing less cross contamination. If the league was smart they would play juniors over Saturday and sunday. under 16’s and 18’s on Saturday then 10’s, 12’s & 14’s in a Sunday.

100% I agree turbo mentioned kids already in contact with kids at school. Well adults are in contact with adults at work I.e tradesmen.

It’s either we all play or don’t play.

When you look at Australia as a whole and the amount of viruses we have had which is roughly 7,500 to date it is literally less then 0.01% of the population.

Community sports in Europe are recommencing as I have family in Spain playing soccer with close to 300,000 cases.

Surely we don’t stop our lives because we have had an outbreak of 50 people of which majority are over seas travellers retuning.

I’m in the all or nothing camp.

I’m sure seniors would be more than willing to come dressed to play and not use rooms.

Massage is not essential ( use foam roller, spiky balls) taping can be done outside.

if it’s wet that makes it hard.

the only reason juniors will go ahead is for the money to league and clubs.

If you think that the people at Tulla have decided to not chase players from Roxy its for only one reason , they dont want any.
Iwould suggest their would be 26 clubs out there that wouldnt want the Tulla President representing them .

I was told that amongst the chat by presidents in div 1 there was an agreeance to not chase Roxburgh park players I’m not saying it’s true but that’s what I was told

Who cares as no season Bash. Do you blame Limbach as his had a few injuries so why risk it. Do you think his the only player in EDFL who decided not to play due to Covid19 or maybe because of no payments. That’s his right as a contracted player. If you think every contracted player was going to front up for free your dreaming and if a club tells you otherwise they are talking rubbish. Don’t believe everything you hear out of your club either mate. Correct me if I’m wrong but pre Covid19 there was no thirds this season and numbers definitely down on previous seasons is what I heard. I won’t go into more detail.

I don’t know DC but when he spoke on that podcast he seemed to be upfront and spoke honestly about the situation at Tulla if a season was to start up. He admitted a few didn’t want to risk getting the virus and some players would work over playing footy. That’s the reality of it all.

Agree 100% totally a players decision and at Limbach age I wouldn’t risk my body for free either. It wasn’t a dig at him sorry if it came out that way.

Regarding players working over footy 100% nothing wrong with that there will be a few at every club doing that EK included.

If all of those end up in ICU, how many beds are left for people suffering heart attacks, strokes, other medical episodes and car crashes? There are only so many ICU beds which is why they are trying to slow it as much as possible. Don't know if you've ever been in the ICU but there aren't many beds and a lot of nurses required. You can't just expand an ICU at the drop of a hat.

It appears you're simply looking at the total number of cases and are determining that they do not represent a significant enough risk to warrant the lockdown measures that are in place - meanwhile overlooking the beneficial outlook to those numbers resulting from said measures.
Not to question someone on the internets credentials but a "math specialist" would be able to account for the relevant data ie. that a fraction of the population are at risk of exposure at present owing to minimised contact with carriers.

EDFL have delayed a decision untill another board meeting takes place this Thursday
