Just a few points to note.

i dont think that gv and john tait will be resuming hostilities just yet. And as for Aussie_dude, i dont know where all the info is coming from, it would truely be a selection coup if i was picked in the firsts. The days of playing senior footy are well past me.

im not really sure that the strathmore football club could really comment on players coming and going. George has played at gv from about 5-6 years now, and i would really doubt that any strathmore player will last that long. Especially when you hear them out spruking that, "i just going down there to win a flag and get paid a sh it load of cash".

I think the game will be really even. Im tipping gv by a point. The two back lines are really even and have clearly had the least scored against them all year. The foward lines are also even, but i would amost give strathmores the nod. Gv midfield is better than strathmores, however i doubt that we have seen the best of quinn yet. If he dominates Smith/Garbutt he could really restrict the gv midfield. However if he doesnt do so, the strathmore foward line could be starved of football.

Hopefully we see a spitefull and even game. Probably the best two sides to play in the edfl for a number of years. Over $300,000 of footballers running around at Greenvale oval this saturday.

Not with the playing list strathmore have at the moment in my opinion. He may get a game in the ones if there's a mass walk out.
You have to ask the question why would you leave then want to come back?

From all reports gazza35, his been playing and going well.
l'm sure not reading his name or other players names is not really an issue, sometimes people/coaches/team mangers dont put names in the bests or even as goal kickers in for certain reasons....

To many players go up and down, if there was a team of the year in B grade Reserves it would only maybe consist of the top 3 or so teams in my opinion!

mate you must have trouble reading. Look at the post that i responded too. it saids that strathmore wil be getting into GB and DB for almost leaving.

As for people going around saying Strathmore have it in the bag, you just have too look at the whole pre season. A number of players have said it, along with strathmore supporters on this site.

So just becuase you diednt say it, doesnt mean it didnt happen. So just have a lil read yourself so you dont lose your credibility.

As long as Simon the pieman doesn't play we will go close. His record against KP is awesome, at least 2 bags of 14 come to mind

A lot said about DS having no bench and having injuries some how trying to justify their near miss.

KP had no bench for most of the game as well, but we still managed to run them. 2 hamys and a shoulder

Not sure if these guys will come up and be ready, that will also be a factor in trying to get a win.
