Great game down at Section Road today. S/more by 3 points. Although I had a quiet one, the team as a whole did enough to get the chocolates! For those who have been reading for a while, Aussie Dude did not take the field at 2.10pm, and as to be expected did not front me face to face, because for him, hiding behind a computer screen is as tough as he gets. Still get on well with most at G/vale, and am now just doing what I love down at S/more with a great bunch of blokes - Can't please eveyone!!! :D :D :D

Well Done Mate. Funny the real John Tate was still in the G/vale club rooms when you posted this basking in his own glory.

As for talking it up and knocking blokes heads off it didn't happen mate. I wonder if he'll add another premiership tattoo to that leg. He's every chance after today

On a serious note I wonder what he thought of his really really good mates, mates who he won a flag with that won't even look him in the eye or give him the time of day. Literally. Its actually quite sad. He is a gun gun football but has zero respect by anyone after what happened. Some of these people where so close it wasn't funny. And before you say that's tough etc etc its what everyone thinks and whilst Tatie would be over the moon at getting the four pts part of him must have realised that mates don't forget when you c*ap on them. I wonder if the Straty faithfull will still love him when he's somewhere else next yr or the year after

Anyway enough of that. It was a great game. It really was. Even better than last year. G'vales set shot kicking was woeful and cost them the ultimate price. Strathmore kicked some unbelieveable goals and will only get better as the year goes on. How tough was that game? Campbell was almost the difference after half time.

Hopefully the sides meet another 3 times for the year sorry bricksta :D

little edfl man well done u got a goal then not in the best ( ok d-mac )
i was at the g-vale game not a bad game some of the players thou from both teams would still get a spanking from there mums i still think these players are over rated and after watching today i seem 2 think i should move back into the edfl
it is easier watching i will agree

Get a life mate, no matter where you go people move on, if tate choses to play somewhere other than GV then good luck to him.

Strathmore got the 4 pts and will finish top 2 !!! Doutta on top now and @ at half way (play abers & east keilor).....

Greenvale vs Smore (2ND SEMI)
DOUTTA VS AVONDALE (1ST SEMI)

KEILOR NOT UP TO IT AFTER WATCHING THEM AGAINST DOUTTAS TODAY..... FADED BADLY AND IF MARCY IS SHUT DOWN THEY CAN'T WIN... MIKKA JAMES (ff) AND ROGOWSK NOT FIT AND WLL NOT BEAT AVONDALE IN 2 WEEKS

DOCHERTY (2) AND RYAN (50) WERE GREAT FOR DOUTTAS BUT I THINK THEY WILL FINISH 3RD BEHIND G'VALE AND SMORE...... KADE CAREY LOOKS GOOD AND DESPITE BAD KICKING 3 GOALS 7 BEHINDS WOULD HAVE BEEN BOG.

PS: DOUTTAS CROWD VOCAL BUT VERY WELL BEHAVED... WELL DONE !!!!

THAT REPLY WASN'T JOHN TATE... HE IS BETTER THAN THAT AND DOESN;T NEED TO JUSTIFY HIS LIFE DECISIONS TO PEOPLE ON THIS SITE.....

Mika had a bad day granted, sumed up by his shot in the 1st quarter off the side of the boot, but if youve seen him recently you could say he was in good form before today. As for rogo, to say hes unfit is like saying lance whitnall is unfit, both big units and always will be.

The head went down early for Mikka and when that happens you know he is in for a bad one , But i reckon he still had 8 shots at goal and although he didn't play well yesterday , if Mikka gets 8 to 10 shots at goal he usually slots 5 or 6. He is all class and still young and inexperienced, As for Rogo it looked as though he wanted to be elsewhere after being dragged , he finds it hard to come on and off the bench all day it seems ,seems he needs to play all 100 mins whether it be in the 1s or 2s

where does it say he was in the best mate it doesn't although he did kick a goal it was from a down the ground kick in the goal square, gotta heap of the pill but that was with the other 2 interchange players having kick to kick on the sidelines waiting 2 go on lol

won by 15 but airport west you let the valleys kick 10, backline the weak end boys. have you got the side for a flag or you need one more tall who can catch it, maybe you have someone in the twos who will make the difference.

points of views on aaron thomas from strathmore plz how is he wat is he like these days how is his footy going
if this is the same guy ? he played full back had a few kicked on him
then he got frustrated and started roughing up the f/f and the f/f went into his shell showed no heart didnt even retaliate back just took it and aaron got on top of him thats what i meant by my last post's no hard feelings guy's

bricksta after watching the stars on saturday i take back my top 10
must admit i hadnt seen a lot of brendan hollow but he is all class very
hard running midfielder was a great win with the players they had out

great win on saturday by the Mores, after giving Greenvale a 5 goal start. glenn campbell came back to haunt the jets again with a number of strong marks and crunch goals. overall a great game, with strathmore's midfield (may, lindsay, o'neill) too good in the end.

yes Gazza it was a great game and douttas had twice as many scoring shots than keilor..
Hollow was great first game back in 3 weeks, real good signs

Both Clubs had players out, butters didnt play for keilor not sure who else missed but douttas lost Bishop, S Tankard, Neesan, Laverde, monteloene to name a few and most will be out for a few weeks by all reports

Carey, ryan and docs very good and the backline rebounded well...
If douttas had kicked straight could have been messy..
Good to see the Keilor boys come into the room later for a drink, not all clubs do these days which is a shame...!:thumbsu: :)
