Regardless of anything else, Fallout 4 isn't close to a graphical powerhouse anyway.

So I wouldn't be worried where you play it. I'll grab it on PS4 and I won't care that PC will probably have a smoother time running it.

I have the game pre-ordered on PC. I bet that dude doesn't. Nobody wants to hear stupid console digs and nobody is gonna be impressed by PC bragging.

Any word on how big the first day patch will be? Don't want to take a day off if I'm going to be sitting around for hours

Dont think its live yet. doubt we will know until next weekend. i would think a couple of GB

Has Fallout ever been known as a graphical powerhouse? Pretty sure it's still using a heavily modified version of the Oblivion engine.

PC elitist flogs are so cute.

Way to completely miss the point, you clown.

New Vegas DLCs weren't enjoyable, Fallout 3's were hit and miss (loved Point Lookout though).

Could go either way.

Dead Money at least introduced good companions. I was quite disappointed that I couldn't bring them back with me. Old World Blues had its amusing moments too.

Don't know that I'd be thrilled about paying full price for them, but they're decent enough as part of a GotY package.

What was your point though?

Does it run at 0.5 fps on consoles?

I'd rather spend my few thousand bucks on coke and hookers than an expensive gaming rig.

Less need to check for viruses too. :thumbsu:

The huge potential for mods, just from looking at the landscapes, characters and equipment. I don't give a shit about FPS.

I don't even have an expensive gaming rig, nor do I prefer one platform over another in general.

Gaming elitist flogs are so cute.

EFA.

There are dickheads on both sides and as a PC and console gamer the argument is stupid, play whatever you enjoy on whatever system you enjoy or works for you individually.

On that note I'm still undecided whether to get this for PC or PS4

If you are playing Fallout for the landscapes and graphics you are doing it wrong.

The game will be broken on all 3 platforms for the rest of the year. all 3 platforms will have mods at some point next year.

There are dicks on all platforms but PC elitists seem to go that step further, because they want to justify paying 5K for a PC then needing to upgrade it every 6months. and also seem to be more offended when a game is broken even if they pay 1/3 the price console players do.

Yes, because you can never play a game for more than one reason. That's beyond the point anyway because it wasn't even what I was getting at.

I'm mainly getting it on PC because with shooters I'm kinda dopey with the controller and I thought I could get it cheaper.
This was before the great price JB have now.
Sport games are definitely better on console for me, PC in the past was easier to mod but I think consoles allowing modding in this one as well.
I got 3 and NV on both PC and console, apart from better aim due to mouse and keyboard on PC and a bigger screen with console, they are
pretty much the same.
Depends on what you prefer really, I don't care that much about graphics when it comes to Fallout as I'm more into the story anyway.

I don't think you have much bearing on what a good gaming rig actually costs, nor how long it will remain relevant.
