Nope, it is surprisingly good, none of the performance issues the consoles are having. Giantbomb actually scored the console version a full star less, which is something they don't often do.

Doesn't feel like a port at all.

On the flip side I'm reminded why PC gaming is such a chore when the game crashes every 10 minutes. Time for the enviable job of troubleshooting GPU issues. Yay.

what? i've had no issues with the game itself. runs smooth on ultra, haven't noticed any bugs. the only thing that has annoyed me is the base building because i can't figure out how rotate angles and join them to other pieces.

I think investing in luck/intelligence was a wise decision. Already got the better crits perk for popping heads, and lockpicking like a boss. I want that sweet gun in the locker at vault 111

Because it's not, the game engine is designed to run on both console and PC hardware. It's just an enhanced version of the engine used for Skyrim

multi-platform titles are not "ports". and it depends on who you're asking. not a single issue here.

(UI is clearly not very PC friendly however.)

I'm sure it's simple but I'm stuffed trying to find out to dismantle my junk? I googled and people said transfer all junk to workbench which I tried but it doesn't seem to give me the option to dismantle? Armour and weapons no worries as I just do them at their respective benches but I want to dismantle my junk. I need dat copper yo.

You don't dismantle junk at all. It will automatically use the junk when needed, I think if you press L1 or something you can sort it into a materials mode which will show how many mats you actually have.

Actually it sounds like you can, and should. Apparently using a component from your junk destroys the unused materials, eg. I used the gears from a gold watch to create a turret, later on I read that the gold gets destroyed in the process. If you dump your junk on the ground, go into workshop mode, and dismantle it from there you SHOULD be able to make use of everything. I haven't tested it myself yet (was going to check it out tonight) but it's worth looking into if you're playing today.

I've only had an hour or so looking around - got out of the vault, talked to Codsworth and had a bit of a look around - picked up a heap of junk - Greyson Black is looking spiffy in a nice suit now.

Will dismantle the junk and continue my exploration once I get home from work.
