So who are the tips for the margin and the medal?

I’ll go with Petrucelle and 14 points.

The medal in his first game that would be something ( he of course has to get a game first)

And winning the Rosco on a losing team. That really would be something!

Fremantle - First win at Optus
Fremantle - First sell out at Optus
Fremantle - First Derby win at Optus

Fremantle - We are Western Australian Football.

No one is winning the medal or the trophy.

What a ******* farce.

Following this Sunday’s Western Derby between Fremantle and West Coast at Optus Stadium, there won’t be an on ground presentation of a trophy for the winning team or medal for the best player afield.

Fremantle CEO Steve Rosich said the change was due to a new sponsorship agreement with Carlton United Breweries, which does not include the derby trophy presentation.

“There will be no derby trophy awarded after the game on Sunday as this is the first year of a new CUB sponsorship with football across the state,” Rosich said.

“That sponsorship does not include the trophy being part of the ongoing sponsorship of both WA AFL clubs.

“There will also be no player medal awarded to the best player on the ground from both teams after the game, which has historically been the Ross Glendinning Medal.

“We will continue to work with West Coast to investigate a joint sponsor for the derby and the possibility of that sponsor taking up the trophy rights for the derby in the future.

“We appreciate the ongoing and valuable support of CUB as sponsors of our club and football in this state.”

That s bureaucracy gone mad. Was nt it called the Ross glendening medal, not the CUB medal, how does not having a sponsor stop the medal being issued?
