I dont understand this he did it last week so he should go this week, no where near as bad as last weeks, shouldn't even go to the tribunal, need to treat each incident on its own merrit.

Will be graded the same as the last one - jumping = 'can' be graded intentional.

Anyone else think gaz really didnt want to go to the gold coast?

If he wants to miss that game he need 2 weeks. We play Bulldogs next week not GC :moustache:

Deliberate. Not careless.
Deliberate *strike*? No way.

He extends his arms to block the player, makes contact with the chest and his arm slides up to make high contact. It’s not even close to a deliberate strike. It’s properly not even reportable but knowing Christian he will report it and it will again be thrown out.

Will get offered a week, if we challenge or not is the question but I reckon the GFC will let it slide this time.
Needs to change his "blocking" action, which he will.

With so many sore players I would think if he gets a week we will be back at the tribunal again

Its not clumsy. It was well well after the ball had left play. You cant block players in that situation.

You can. Had he hit him in the chest and not raised an elbow (which looks bad but the actual force of contact is insufficient) no one would be discussing it.

a week lol
seriously people

we are getting concussion incidents and no one is getting penalised

seriosuly wtf
Still was a mindless thing to do a week after his last careless act.

I do wonder whether the manner in which he has performed those tackles has something to do with a lack of confidence in his shoulder.

gtee
and the fact all these stupid chicken wing incidents occur and the afl spirit thing doesnt penalise them

Dunno how even the most one eyed of our supporters could think he shouldn't be reported for that.
Late as f**k and went for the head. You'd get suspended for that even back in the 90's.
Get himself a rest.
I wonder if they get paid more under suspension, or just having a rest? ;)

I feel as though this hit from Gaz is worse than last weeks. Raised his elbow and hit the guy square in the face. Think he’ll cop the 1 week.

I thought he was gone immediately.

I'm really surprised by the talk that the guy who bumped Rohan will get two.
Suggests I'll get both wrong.

What! there wasn't a tackle option as the players had disposed of the ball, the team thing then is to impeded that player from backing up in that play something they train at doing every week. Coincidence the forearm slipped high two week in a row.

I think that the other difference is that he changed direction somewhat in order to hit the player. In the Essendon case, he was already going the same way.

Should be graded as insufficient force but Gaz was just stupid to put himself in that situation for a second week in a row. I don't mind him having a week off but will be disappointed if he's not eligible for the Brownlow as I reckon he'd be in the top 5 at the moment.
