He's not the reason why we lost but I just don't see the point of Blicavs playing when he's not in defence or rucking. 10 possessions on the wing is basically a man down. I thought we had moved past hamstringing ourselves a few years ago when we used to play him there. Obviously not. He has clear deficiencies in his game and the club just seems to pretend they don't exist. He's slow and he can't kick, so play him in defence or the ruck where he doesn't have to call on those skills frequently or don't play him at all.
Sidenote: bravo Tim Kelly. As a potential last game for us he stood up when others couldn't. Thanks for your efforts.

Agreed. Wouldn’t say our list is shallow, but it has big holes. The players we lost were in the positions we could least afford to lose a player.Start of the year we all would have been happy with a top eight finish
Team has exceeded expectations
Key injuries to a shallow list have hurt
Proud of the boys
I thought Scott’s presser was good. Measured. Fact is we were not good enough tonight. We made costly mistakes. We needed Hawkins
Hawkins, Duncan, Rohan (not so much) and Clark add those in... &$@& off tim kelly and add some high end draft talent or some trades with those picks..... I think we will have yet another disappointing finals loss in 2020.....Bad luck cats. I feel that was the last big role of the dice and our window is shut. Got lucky to keep our window open so long. Got lucky that the best player in the comp wanted to move back to the surf coast. Got lucky that one of the best players in the comp went unnoticed and signed to us for 2 years. Got lucky that the father /son rule allowed us to get Selwood and Hawkins in the same draft. Well, to quote Metallica “our luck’s run out”. We’ll have no Ablett, Harry or Kelly next year. Might make the 8, but windows closed. The boys did well tonight and Myers is my new favourite.
Potted Geelong blokes
Parfiit is not slow - he does think rather than play. Simpson in the VFL is the same way. Thinks thru what he should do rather than act instinctively.
And then looks slow as a result of it.
But yes.. he got caught because of it. Tigers play on instinct - we play on a plan and under pressure the time to think about the plan is not there and yuo see what you did in the second half
GO Catters
Missed Clark tonight, run and carry
Can someone point out the 50 re runs of the thug basher hitting a player above the shoulders behind play
We lacked a mid,Clark , Duncan , Hawkins would have helped. Does anyone think Rohan would have? The cockatoo I remember would have help but its a fading memory.
We just are not deep enough.. Miers a pick in 50's .. but he is like a few of our guys .. very good potential but also has his issues to work on.
You a
You are f*** kidding surely? We were screwed royally that game by the umps.
C.ling is a f witt
Seriously piss poor
We've relied on Selwood and Danger to drag us over the line too often. They couldn't do it tonight.
For whatever reason, Danger wasn't up to it in the second half. Strange after all his talk of being desperate for a premiership. I can only guess he was badly injured.
We lost 11 of our last3rd quarter just unacceptable! Had the game and coughed it up so quickly. Woods had us 46-10, eagles + 38 in 2nd & 3rd quarters and tonight bullied after half time. Quite simply not good enough in September again! Scott said it feels different this year! F him!
Danger is not right not sure if its ribs or whatever ... we lack a couple of mids and better alt KPF , a proper wingman and perhaps a KPD but I think Lynch was on ... another example of how some teams really nail FAWe lacked a mid,
Should have been much further ahead at 1/2 time, so many shots missed.
Nicholls almost their best, every time a 50/50 decision went their way, that bald headed twit was all over it.
Scott was right, they are not as good as last year, we blew it.
Cmon Collingwood I guess.

If hawkins got a week last week how does houli not get a week for his hit on miers. Raised elbow off the play.
I knew the 3rd quarter was going to be super important.
They just went bang at the start of Lynch kicked the first 2.
They did to us what they did Brisbane last week.
They had all the answers in the second half.
Blitz needs to stay back.
Hes so poor by foot.
We might have found a winger in MOC hope he gets a go in that role.
I think you'll find the 3rd round pick offered for him somewhat unpalatable. Not that he's not worth more than that but if you're pushing a player out you are accepting unders, often bad unders, because the pressure is on us to make the trade. Clubs have to be sniffing first.Parfitt should be quietly shopped he does have youth on his side, but he has no real pace doesn't hit the scoreboard much and has poor awareness he reminds me of a poor version of Caddy when we had him at the club
Agree but we all get stuck into hawkinsHe'll get off. It's not right, but that's what wi happen
