Yes Blicavs shot for goal in the 2nd was predictable. He can’t kick or impact forward of centre. When he played wing , 3rd man up he was a defensive mid that mostly handballed. It was a poor finals coaching performance and media performance from Scott. There needs a Hardwick type change of mindset or just get out already!

Blics is an athlete not a footballer, has been a liability almost every time hes played in the midfield. He finally finds a position that he was good at and we swap him back into the mids.

The fact he has won 2 BnF’s is a joke, CS just loves him because he will play any role asked of him. It’s really poor coaching.

1. Where was Guth in that second half? Had a blinder in the first half and then was sent forward and back?
2. Where was Danger in that second half? Had a blinder in the first half and then was sent forward?
3. Why the hell did we keep sending it to our half forward line, rather than getting it in deep? That is literally how they get all their goals, via rebounding from half back in waves
4. Blicavs on the wing worked last week, but clearly he should have been sent back once Lynch got off the chain. Why wasn't that move made?
5. Why wasn't Henderson swapped with Taylor, at 3/4 time? Give them something different to look at/play on
6. Why did we go down the line, instead of waiting for an option to open up?
7. Why does Ablett think he can go another year? Absolutely awful finals series, and does not deserve another contract
8. Why wasn't Houli, Edwards or Prestia tagged? Clearly their three players that provided drive.
9. How in the f*ck have we made another prelim, and yet we still can't go further? Is it mentality, is it coaching, or are we just simply not good enough?
10. Lastly...Why.Oh.F*cking.Why...Why did you have to get yourself a suspension Hawk? Henderson was alright defensively forward, but provided nothing offensively.

Bonus question...Was this our last shot at a flag? Because it definitely feels like it. Up by 21 points at half time, but no will in the second half to win, like the first half. No change of plan or shuffling the pieces. Huge clean out this year, and languish in the 8-14 position next year. That includes the coach, but there's a snowballs chance in hell that will happen.

Lastly...F*ck the Grand Final, I won't be watching. Richmond deserved it tonight, but a Richmond v Collingwood Grand Final may actually make me ill.

We've got the players. Had the players. We just don't have a humble enough coach to make the necessary changes or selections.

One thing that pi**ed me off in the 3rd quarter was when Caddy and a few other Tiger players were getting into Miers after they thought he dived when Houli whacked him while he was on the mark, not one teammate flew the flag to help the kid out, apart from one player giving a token shove to Caddy when he was running off.

Wouldn't have seen that when the likes of Chappy, Scarlo and Moons were running around.

They hit Miers repeatedly. He was causing havoc. Umps tried to protect him, What a turd Dimma is. Oh shucks I’m a good guy, no you are scum, of the earth.

It was always about making the most of limited chances.... we did not make the most of them in the first half ... and then we just dried up in the second half...

A few guys are carrying injuries or have some explaining to do..... Ablett going to ground at one stage ..really hasnt got the legs he had..

Miers showed his potential but the game got the better of him .. but really we ran out of talent up forward..and our midfield just could not keep up. It just seems some of our guys just cant show their best in this type of game..tough task.

The last two week has been the best finals performances for a while but it didnt change the taste in the mouth atm...

TC, for heck sake they hit him in the kidney. Should not have played on. Then they hit again and again, umps tried to protect him. They knew what had happened except for Nicholls. Gosh he’s a turd.

That's one key positive from the finals is that for the most part I thought our youth looked good, they didn't seem to get blown away or overawed, and they didn't look out of place - not to say they didn't have down moments, but there were good signs for the future

It doesn't seem in any way fitting for the best player of the past decade to just bow out. He should be playing his last game in front of an adoring packed KP crowd aware that it was his last. Chaired off and a couple of laps of honour and waves at the end.

This way just feels wrong.

Unfortunately the reality of playing finals every year is you don't get the opportunity for proper farewells. That's what made that 2015 game so special despite the disappointment of missing out on finals.

Nah I’m pretty bloody annoyed to support the side who didn’t want it more.
We had them on toast. We had them worked out and they had a concussion, a player with a bung shoulder and dusty was sore as hell.... yet they dominate us?
How don’t we crack in harder and make a sore and sorry team even more sore and sorry.
Absolutely no killer instinct but we get away with this because most people expected to get flogged.

Just off the train. Entered the ground with 70% hearing loss and now it's 90%.
They were a fetid rabble, good luck to them, but never again will I lock myself in that madhouse top level.
The highlight of my night was the silence and dumb mutt looks on their dials during that second quarter to half time.

At least we got that far, before it went to hell in a handbasket.
We lost because we have no pace. Or not allowed to have it. Slow ball worked for five minutes, one thing about being so
high up is seeing all the leads that were ignored due to the stupid game plan. Hold it up. No flare.

Slow? Hendo a massive fail that should never have occured, honestly he has no idea. It was a case of you just had to
be there to see some of his turtle moves. So many posters guessed it pre game, but what the hell.

No you try another key back and then you go to Blitz but wouldn't have mattered as their forward line was so open that nobody would have stopped Lynch marking

Blitz back mean we have someone up the ground who can apply pressure to ball carrier meaning entry isn’t as clean meaning defenders have more of a chance

I know it's been mentioned about Danger being down in the second half, someone said Guthrie was on the exercise bike during half time, think it was mentioned Stewart spent like 15 minutes on the bench during the 3rd quarter and I'm pretty sure Ratugolea had extended time on the bench in the last quarter

One thing I noticed during the game is we seemed to be using the interchange more than Richmond - we were up to 28 interchanges during the 1st quarter, and at about the 23rd/24th minute mark of the last quarter we had used 88 of our 90 interchanges. That seemed a lot with still 5/6 minutes to go.

Wasn't sure if there was a reason for a highish interchange count from the first quarter

They went out in straight sets last year. They didn't make the finals this year.

Also, I don't think we 'blew' this year. It was clear going into this finals series that we weren't premiership material. We hadn't won 2 games on the trot since late June/early July. I don't think we have been 'premiership material' since 2013. Since then we've been consistently very good, but others have been better.

As for their finals history vs. ours, I am not fazed. They have their history, we have ours. I prefer ours, even with the disappointments.
