When a team is on and they kick it into their f50 their players just mark it uncontested all the time. I remember seeing the same crap when Isaac Smith ruined Hawthorns 4peat chances. Holes everyhere and Blicavs on the wing was stupid

Can’t agree more. We must make the most out of Kelly’s picks. To me we need a key defender and midfielder/small forward. Hope Wells gets this time right as he doesn’t tend to pick well with first round draftsFeeling pretty flat having just got home, the effort was there but sadly the 4 quarters wasn’t.
Most important trade-draft period for us since 2010, really need to get some key positions in and how we use the picks for Kelly is vital.
Just sounds like it. Seem agreeable to everything Geelong & Scott & positive despite September flops. I thought it might be part of the job criteria.Didn't realise there was something wrong with looking for positives to take away from things - surely better than only looking at the negatives
And what's the "tow the GFC line about" - not sure about the other mods but I currently have no direct connection with the GFC and as such not sure what the line to tow would be.

We threw that away.
Couldn’t go with their run, and their s**t game plan.
Parfitt as trade bait for mine
Ridiculous thoughts tbh. We finished on top, yet it was clear we are not premiership material?? Yes we blew it! Effin dogs 16, & s**tty tigers 17 won the god damn thing.
Don’t be content with failure! Ever!
difference was a tall marking forward.
Thank you Hawkins.
You let us down and that is simply a fact

Our full back plays on the wing, gets 10 possessions, while their full forward has 19 possessions, 8 marks and kicks 5 goals in a 19 point win.
Mind boggling decision by Chris Scott.
Question marks? Mounting? The kid was a revelation in his first year...another 22 possession effort tonight and was excellent in the first half....and never gave up throughout.
He'll play a lot of football for Geelong...more than just a small forward.
Dude, Miers was solid. 22 touches, + 2.1. He was the pick of the bunch from last year's draft, and probably our best talent under 22yo on our list.Miers our new Stevie Johnson wannabe - a cynical player who can at times be very good.
I'm not sure he'll ever butter up again as he did in 2019, nonetheless he redeemed his own finals series when question marks were mounting.
Tonight was Gryan's ceiling in a nutshell imo.
Marks inside 50. Cats (7)- (18)
One percenters. 38. -58
Smith is a dud, lol.Hendo was horrible. Just play Smith in the Goal square.

Wait until this bloke who cant kick, cant handball, cant make a decision wins his third B&F.
I actually started to believe tonight, against my better judgement...
"we can beat these... then just the pies left....couldn't be worse that we were in the QF...this could be our year after all..."
Of course, getting torn a new one in the first 3 minutes of the 3rd quarter jolted me back to reality... It was actually painful to watch.
Still, I saw good things, especially Miers, Atkins, Sav, Sel and TK.
Some strong moments from Kolo, Henry, O'Connor, and even Stanley at times (those handballs though!)
The mistakes in the second half though, and our inability to counter Richmonds play. Massively frustrating.
And something for the coach - to borrow the words of Samuel L Jackson
I've had it with this mothaf--king middle-distance runner, on this muthaf--king wing!
Why? Just, why? If the question isn't running around a lot and effecting the odd spoil, then Blicavs is not the answer. Ever!

It’s the truth, and the difference that Clark made at HBF is all the evidence required.Small defenders that can profoundly influence a game with their rebound and kicking skills, who would have thought.
It's a tough lesson but perhaps we can garner something from this and not continue with our plodders back there who simply lack the basic skills of an AFL player.
It looked to me we ran out of legs...Whether we like it or not, the Tigers are a very good side.
