I thought he came across as arrogant & smarmy actually...
He did at first when there was background noise. The guy was hurting. The loss was raw and he didn’t want to say anything that would come back to bite him. I thought it was one of his better post loss efforts

But Harris Andrews plays for the Lions! Blicavs was in the squad but did not make the final team, he is not an AA, yet. We did play a dual AA defender on Lynch, his name is Harry Taylor. However I agree that Blicavs should have been on Lynch, but the reason we lost was what happened in the third quarter when they put the burners on, we were not quite good enough. Kudos to Richmond they will be hard to beat.
Lynch kicks 2 on Blicavs, and we win. Our backline plays better with Blicavs down back. That is statistically very easy to argue. Blicavs was a waste of space on the wing, so no loss there.

The way the ball was coming in (with the 6/6/6 starting positions) from the centre, Rance/SOS/Scarlett couldn’t have stopped him marking. He’s a taller than most ruckman, has ridiculous reach, is highly mobile and is one of the best young players in the league.
You just explained why we had to have Blicavs on him!

Has anyone seen an explanation of how Richmond were allowed to bring graham back into the field without penalty?
By all reports he didn’t exit via the gates. Doesn’t the rule say that you can’t return if that’s the case??

Two weeks ago Collingwood had a coach step into the field without any public explanation by the AFL.

Other shocking error was when we were losing momentum in the 3rd we had Dangerfield forward. Just had to have him, Selwood and Kelly at the centre ball ups.

Yep. Tigers were dominating out of the centre and I watched danger run to the bench, sit there for 5 mins then come back on and run to full forward.
Horrific move.

It's nearly always the same,I don't think he actually reads the game well as a coach game day,he gets to emotionally involved to be fully across what's happening.

Easy. Rules are ignored when it comes to the 2 big Melbourne clubs.

This is nonsense imho. One on one maybe he's hard to beat, but no good defence relies on one on one defending. Stick Blitz or even Hendo in the huge empty space at CHB and watch the game change.

They were penslised
Geelong played with 12 players in the second half

Like most comments here, we do not have the information. Was Danger fit enough to go back to the MF?
They make their moves with knowledge and information. We make our suggestions with hope and anguish, and retrospective analysis.
Blicavs was a winner last week on the wing, and nobody would have stopped that supply to Lynch. He is an awesome talent, and Taylor is or was no slouch, and we also had Hendo .
The big factor here is and was HAWKINS. Not just his direct contribution to goals but his strength and ability to make space for Sav. We ALL knew his absence would be costly, and the margin reflects that. Kudos for CS for actually giving the Tigers something to think about at half time. Any other arguments are spilt milk until people can accept and appreciate how great this Richmond team is.

I’m still trying to figure out why Stewart spent the first half of the 3rd on the bench when Richmond were piling on goals.

You are overrating this Richmond team. They will probably go on and win the flag now, but they are by no means one of the ā€œgreatā€ teams. We had every chance to beat them last night. With Hawkins and Duncan we probably do.
