He's 180cm. It's low end but he's the same height as parfitt and 3cm taller than Lachie Neale. If he doesn't make it won't be because of stature.

And Parfitt is ahead of him. We can't carry too many of those types in the midfield. Parfitt is also a better footballer.

Fully agree parfitt is a better footballer, but 180cm is not uncommon for a mid. I just don't think his height will be the factor holding him back

Constable is that alternative, he was 3rd highest possession winner up to 3/4 time, must've been on the bench for 10mins came on and got crunched.
The kid was on track for a 20+ poss game again.
Don't let him go anywher other than Geelong.

I've read that they've been trying Cooper at half back in the praccy matches as well. Honestly wouldn't mind seeing how he goes there sooner rather than later in place of Kolo. We've got more than enough dour defensive types - getting one out of the side wouldn't effect us in the slightest defensively. A 'James Kelly type' in the back half would be invaluable at the minute. Reckon with the short breaks coming up and the inevitable squad rotation, that's a position they should be trying to fill - might even be someone from left-field.

Drafting mids and playing them as defenders. Such a geelong thing to do.

Probably draft a ruck and play him in defence too. Looking forward to the day when we finally get a best 22 of nothing but defenders.

Nobody shat the bed,if that game was on neutral turf in queensland with both sides fully fit and using equal facilities we would have won.

Everything imaginable going their way including kennedy playing out of his skin the home ground advantage the extreme facilities advantage they had for preparation yet we still pushed the game to the last 1.30 seconds.

Going to say that this season is becoming the most disgraceful bias competition you will ever see.

The fact we have a competition where victorian teams are forced to lock themselves into hotel rooms and use hotel gym facilities like a local football club does, yet you have clubs like brisbane gold coast west coast fremantle using their state of the Art football facilities is insanely a massive advantage we have not seen for a long long time.

The premiership this year has a big asterix through it for ny liking if it goes to any of those teams

Absolutely and I'm not saying Rohan has played well but as a third tall with leg speed the replacement will change the shape of the forward entries pretty substantially given we either replace with a tall or a player with zip. When we take him out of the side we need to have an idea of how that changes our predictability and how it changes opposition defensive structure. It's a problem for smarter heads than i
