Good: Tex, the great man having a career-best season at 33 years old. It's a Hurculean feat, almost unheard of in league history.

We've now squared the Showdown ledger again.

Bad: Port clearly breaching their duty of care to Aliir. If the AFL is serious about protecting the head, the Powa need a heavy penalty.

Ugly: the hole that will be left when Tex retires.

I was wrong about Matt Crouch.

He wound the clock back to 2017

Our backline of Nank Keane Worrell and Max. Honestly if you told me round one we’d win a game let alone a showdown with those 4 in our back 6 I’d have thought we must have only beat west coast. Huge all game all of them.

Tex is ok.

Hinge was good with controlled anger.

Matt Crouch had a game too. I’ve been a knocker but 300M+ gained in a game. I’m sure he hasn’t had that in the past 5 seasons combined.

Aliir not even receiving a concussion assessment is disgraceful

Nank and MM lapping up the crowd and atmosphere at the end good to see young guys loving it.

Also * the draft pick beating Port will never be matched.

He was excellent - I wondered in the game day thread if the absence of Sloane freed him up

Something to think about

You're joking!!! I didn't realise that. That's ****ed. Aliir you deserve better. :( He's a great defender and critical part of their team, just does him a disservice.
